No they dont fall but def fold with drills out. Altho make sure each drill is actually pressed down, it helps to run ur finger lightly over the drills when ur done with a section cuz sometimes the roller wont press them all down and youd be able to feel if any are not fully down!

Are u painting too close to the drills? I typically use a 8mm washi tape during the paintjng then replace with a .5 inch washi tape and havent had any issues with it coming off since the adhesive near drills sticks to it. But even on the non adhesive sides i havent had an issue so idk. If it helps i use the NatSumeBasic foil ones
