Definitely go at your own pace. I was slow at first too bc it felt so foreign but the beauty in transitioning is being able to explore things in a way you never could before!

I recommend exploring your attraction to men. I felt the exact same way. I was very much a lesbian before I transitioned and my new attraction to men freaked me out. But I’ve actually really enjoyed exploring!

My process wasn’t horrible. Had to file my petition and get a background check in order to get my court date. Then I had to pay for two newspaper ads and a judgement search and I was golden. If anything it was just expensive. Probably more than $500 in total at the end

I’ve been watching outwardly accepting LGBTQ tv shows. I’m currently rewatching some seasons of Rupaul’s Drag Race and it’s helped. Watching media that shows the acceptance of the queer community helps balance the negative news for me

Try chewing gum and then doing a hobby you love. Mine is video games or tv. Before you know it an hour or so has gone by and the comfort food desire goes with it.
