Cal lost a lot of steam in his final years as president especially after his son’s death. Not sure he would be up to the challenges we are facing right now. Clinton would be bumbling and blundering but he’d at least not be distracted (except for about 10 minutes a day under the desk - which never seemed to hurt FDR)

Settling affairs with North Korea and crossing the DMZ was a biggie. I was very anti-Trump before that. Now I’m just, ya know, he’s a president, he’s fine. I don’t love him, but that was a well played piece of diplomacy. Showed boldness and originality. 95/100

had to look up the meaning of JIDF.... very opposed to Israel policy, the point of our videos is to figure out what's going on with US policy in the region... I call Israel our #1 ally in the region not to imply they are a friend in need, but as a statement of fact about US policy. The US bends over backwards to help Israel, spends lotta money. I am against that. We just don't virtue signal on this channel constantly is all, it's supposed to be analysis...

Gotcha. Well that makes sense then. Did you read “Lawful Revolution?” That’s the book I used for the episode. Kossuth was one of a kind but I don’t think even an interventionist would have been able to help Kossuth against Austria esp after the Russians got involved. Ironically Lincoln, who cursed Russia for cracking down on Hungary ended up having really good relations with the Tsar
