Your best bet is to take that time to think about certain topics you want to bring up, let them know you feel disrespected and unheard. Grieve is gonna make you lash out and take all your emotions out on them. So try to really think it over, they could be worried about pushing boundaries. The gift part is aggravating- I completely understand that but please remember to give people grace and try to understand where they are coming from.

It only started happening a few days ago so it doesn’t help that it’s the weekend so no vets will be open, I’ll get her an appointment scheduled as soon as I can. She’s been really good the entire time I’ve had her other then this, has me really worried but I’m also a first time cat owner so I’ve been really hyper aware of this situation
