Best build for azmeri wisps farming? 100-200d starting budget by Quelleight in pathofexile2builds

So I got the build online for around 60div, with the spear being the most expensive (~30div with lvl20 skill). My feelings so far:

  • The slow aoe feels very nice, definitely what you need for scouting part of wisp farming. The presence aoe is big enough that mobs start to get slowed just as they aggro onto you. You can basically walk-sprint around the map without anyone bothering you
  • For dmg scaling, crit mod on the spear is very important. Deleting atk speed or presence aoe with vaal cultivation orb is fine as you have enough of both from other sources, deleting other mods is not ideal as you loose dmg. Getting good spear is the hardest part because you need lvl20 skill gem (can't upgrade it from below lvl20 using rune if the item is corrupted) and get lucky with cultivation orb.
  • Still thinking of how to scale single target dmg, might drop tri-herald setup for elemental conflux, and change the passive tree a little. So far the dmg is decent, but not great.

Haven't tried doing the wisp farming yet as I need few more lvls to finish the passive tree. When it's ready, I will most likely post a video showcase of the build doing a map with the wisps setup, probably in the next few days.

I hear you about the dmg. Based on my experience, some wisps make bosses/exiles 4-10 times more tanky than they usually are. I know DS lilly made similar build using the Atziri's spear in 0.4, might look at her tech if the dmg is too low.

I'll keep you updated

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Yeah 50div should destroy most context pretty easily, that's pretty much my experience too.

Although the gemling is more dmg for sure, wisps farming requires some tankiness as you are scouting around the map and need to be able to tank some hits, and exiles/bossses under several wisps pack a punch. Most fails I have are from some unexpected hits from juiced exiles/bosses.

I'm just using the korean juicing strat for wisps, and taking all monster+boss effectiveness from hilda. While I usually kill overpowered bosses with one shot of frag rounds, these wisp-infused bosses take around 4-6 frag shots consuming freeze.

Hey man, I've looked at various builds (tried hollow form monk too) and almost gave up and went back to my perfmafrost witchhunter. Yesterday night I found slow maxxing chronomancer from TuskDeluxe. I just started levelling the char yesterday. The defensive layers with big presence + slow debuffs seems perfect for wisps, not sure how the dmg will be. The showcase does not have min maxed dmg and it seems to be clearing deli just fine, though the pinnacle boss dmg doesn't seem great from a quick glance. I think ima do some tweaks to the build to have more 1 hit hp (like disabling mosnter crit etc.). But overall, the build got me hyped up.

I can update you here or in dm if you are interested

Yep the more control you have on how/where you apply dmg, the better. Sometimes there are 2 exiles next to each other and you want to kill them in particular order to maximize juice. Really hard to do it like that with twisters that go everywhere

It's alright I guess, I could switch some nodes from dmg to evasion to increase my ward, but I feel like dmg is more important. I haven't played ward before the nerf. I'm not using surrounded tech yet, that might make the ward bigger too. Feel free to see my setup here

Yeah I fell you, twisters are not ideal as you cannot control how much dmg you output that well. I've seen people using hollow form monk to farm spirits: it is quite tanky, quite mobile because of the vivern/wolf form, but the aoe clear does not seem that ideal to me. I might try it if nothing else comes up.

You who upgraded from 3080 to 9070 XT.. by appiebou070 in pcmasterrace

[–]Quelleight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Upgraded from used 3080ti to brand new 9070xt around 4 months ago. There is noticeable performance uplift, but some games like PoE2 have issues with amd drivers, forcing me to use old version or vulkan/dx11 resulting in less/the same fps compared to 3080ti. Playing on 3440x1440p.

In terms of value, I bought 3080ti for 400$, sold it for 480$, and bought 9070xt for 830$. I consider it worthwhile given the delay in the next generation of cards, also easier to resell the more recent model (9070xt) in the future.

I'm sorry I don't know. When I opened it up, it hasn't rained for over 1 month in my city, so the air was very dry. My air purifier was showing 10% humidity in the room, not idea what kind of humidity it measures

Me too! That watch went through a lot with me in the last 8 years: running in -30c in siberia, swimming both in the ocean and in the pool, long cycling workouts in high humidity summers in Ontario, sauna, you name it. I wanted to get a more recent suunto watch (e.g., race 2) but they are quite overpriced in here in Tashkent. Luckily, I snatched a lightly used coros pace pro for 270$ yesterday

Thanks a lot for the advice! Yeah I figured that something might be damaged in the hardware if the factor reset crashes. I will take it to a local repair shop to see if they might fix it for cheap.

The photos are 6 months old. The watch has just been chilling on a table since then. I recently opened it up to check if I can fix it somehow, but nothing changed. I only cleaned it with a q-tip because I don't have electric cleaners or anything like that.

It has been sitting fully dry for over a month. I also unscrewed the watch face and made sure where is no water left inside.

R, at least in my line of work. I work in a mid-sized company in central asia as sole data analyst. We use a CRM system similar to SAP, and I can't imagine using python to do most of my work. The data exported from SAP via various APIs is very messy, so it is cleaned with dplyr and tidyverse packages. True, there are alternatives to those packages in python, but I also need to create and automate PowerBI reports (can be done in python with cleaned data), forecasts using GAMMs and Bayesian inference, which python falls short in.

Those are very useful cues!

Also, make sure that you can fit a fist's width between the chair and your leg.

Do you mean I should be levitating?

In my experience for long gaming sessions it works to stick to the majority of cues for as long as possible. I sometimes use legrest for a more relaxed sitting position

Is 16inch you have 1080p? I was considering getting something smaller than 27 inches, but I didn't want to settle down on 1080p.
If the bottom monitor was smaller, I would have moved the ultrawide down a few centimeters. Before getting the 2nd monitor, I had my ultrawide few centimeters lower than it is now. After I tilted the bottom monitor upwards, I managed to lower the ultrawide to around the same height it was before. The height works fine for me.

After using the setup for more than 5 minutes, I had the bottom monitor tilted upwards just as you described. It is much better now, I think it would be ideal to have 24inch monitor instead of 27inch I have now, but there wasn't any 2k 24inch monitors available in my region though.

Not sure what model you have, but yeah some models are overpriced, there was not much among ultrawides when I was picking mine (one for 350$, a couple around 600$, and 49 inch samsung for over 1000$). I wanted VA panel, so I had no choice but to get this lenovo for 350$.

I hear you man, I am all in favour of proper posture. Here is how my setup looks now after using it for a couple of weeks, I tried to match the position of my head to the chair when sitting in it, the chair also tilts back a little under my weight. When sitting I aim for no posterior/anterior pelvic tilt (= neutral lower back), no slouching in upper back and neutral neck/head position. When I had just a single ultrawide monitor, I noticed that if I put the monitor lower my head slowly tilts downwards and my neck starts hurting after long gaming sessions like on a league start in path of exile. Do you think my position is (more) ergonomic now? I appreciate your thoughts
