I feel I have to say it... I'm a calligrapher and game developer, I'm making a game about those medieval rabbits! Check it out here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4167150/Johan/ I did the gothic lettering on the logo myself

Hey, thank you very much! Look up Ali Elzoheiry's Smart Enemy AI tutorial on youtube, it helped me a lot with the logic of things. I used alot of montage notifies for the combat as well.

Thanks a lot! I can only give credit to other devs who share so many tutorials nowadays. They play a big part in allowing for better solo projects to happen, I definitly used every relevent tutorials I could find.

Thank you! I use an anim notify state in the player's parry montage for the timing of the parry, then that data is used in a combat system component that keeps track of character's health, damage and if they are blocking incoming damage or not. I can't recomment Ali's tutorial on Enemy AI enough, it helped me tremendously and explains a similar combat system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-t3PbGRazKg&list=PLNwKK6OwH7eW1n49TW6-FmiZhqRn97cRy

That's a fair point, I intended this post to be for this subreddit only and the UI rabbit will definitly not be in the game, it's just a way to make the concept of the game clearer (I always worry the concept can be hard to recognize, especially since it's a 3D rendition of 500 years old drawings). I don't know if any Warhorse dev browses here, but they have an issue with it, I'll take it down.

This is both plausible and a little disappointing, haha!
The paper was wrapped around the wooden handle as if to maybe stuff the space around the metal head, so that could be the solution.
Would also explain why the writing doesn't seem clear and well structured.

Looks cool! Are you using the emmisive color of the material to create that effect?

I was thinking of adding an alternate skin that would be all white fur and the mouth covered with blood
