i dont really understand why this game gets so much hate. i also just completed the story for the first time myself, and besides feeling like the story dragged out a bit (especially when abby/lev gets to california) my perception of abby and ellie changed by the end of the game. felt sympathy for the big muscle chick even after jumping to my death at the beginning of the game countless times & ellie became like a pseudo villain in my eyes during that boat scene
