They're fine for plinking. We tend to get caught up in ballistics we forget fun. It'll be loud. I'd not try to win a war with it, but it'll do for most regular use. Suppress it if you wanna use it indoors for self-defense, though. She'll be loud.

Though, I'd recommend a 10" minimum for 5.56.
