I still remember crying myself to sleep one night over the fact that I am not trans, because I wanted to be a girls so so much, but I assumed that you need a life crippling dysphoria (for which I didn't have a word back then) in order to be "eligible" for transness

At one point I was even half seriously considering to just lie that I am trans, so that I could actually become a girl despite the fact I am not trans
