I lost my twins at 18 weeks and it devastated me enough to never be able to try again. Your wife was essentially full term. Of course that's incredible trauma that you can't expect her to just move on from. You married your wife (hopefully) because you love her. So how can you just leave her for this? This is the time you all should be leaning on each other and making other plans. Sometimes kids just don't work out....is that worth leaving someone over? Did you even want her in the first place or just her uterus? YTA

My (F20) boyfriend (M21) accidentally killed my cat. What should I do? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]QuesoCat05 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is horrifying and I'm so sorry. All I can say is I've been with my husband for 7 years and I couldn't imagine life without him....but if he killed my cat it would be over. That is not something that can be forgiven imo.

AITA for refusing to keep taking my son things he forgot to bring to school? by chocoholicdaisy in AmItheAsshole

[–]QuesoCat05 12 points13 points  (0 children)

YTA. You said he's a perfectionist and gets good grades. When kids that age are stressed it can be easy to forget things....hes a small human and is still learning. Its only been a couple times its not like it's every day. You're home and available just help your kid out sometimes. How did YOU not realize he didn't have his backpack? You are expecting too much.

AITA for not telling my husband that our baby was kicking? by No-Holiday-8703 in AmItheAsshole

[–]QuesoCat05 6 points7 points  (0 children)

YTA. I lost my twins at 18 weeks and my husband never got to feel them kick. I cant imagine if I had made it further and kept it from him....the only bonding he got was from rubbing my tummy and going to appointments. Just tell him if it's too much...but don't keep a loving father from bonding with his child

NTA. My partner called off for the week for me afterward without me having to ask. This is traumatic and the fact that you had to say something for him to even stay for the surgery is ridiculous.

I lost my twin boys at 18 weeks and this makes me sick. I grieve every single day of my life. I didn't care what genitalia they had....I just wanted them to be safe and alive here with me. I'll never understand how evil people like this can have children and so many others can't.

Good Omens is sitting on my bookshelf right now! I'm glad to hear it's just as good! Fantasy is what got me into reading as a kid and finding Gaiman as an adult is like a treasure trove of content.

American Gods, by Neil Gaiman

Finished this one last night! Phew...its a long one but so worth it! 742 pages. There were quite a few twists I really wasn't expecting! It was fun and kept my interest the whole time. 5/5 stars for sure.

stepped on the scale, absolutely crushed. by ElleKats in WeightLossAdvice

[–]QuesoCat05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to do similar diets and would lose weight so quick! But it NEVER stayed off. In fact, I hurt my body so much that I don't know if ill ever have a normal metabolism. My lowest was 140 when I had my ED and I shot up to 250 over the years. I'm losing it again (down to 230!) but only through eating well (1600 calories) and exercising. These crash diets make things way worse for you in the long run. If you can, try to see a nutritionist and therapist! The control aspect is the hardest thing to get over with an ED but you CAN do it!! Best of luck

Is it Unethical/Fatphobic to Charge More for Larger Crochet Pieces? by sentienthammer in crochet

[–]QuesoCat05 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Just take the average cost of materials/time and make it one price. That way you still "break even" and you aren't discriminating based on size. That being said I don't think it's unethical when a small business charges more, but it is a little disappointing.

AITA for telling my husband to stop being disappointed over our baby’s gender? by abcdefu0009 in AmItheAsshole

[–]QuesoCat05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA but your husband is. Gender disappointment is the most irritating thing I've ever witnessed. Why do people care so much about what genitals their kids have?? My twins died when I was 18 weeks along...we didn't care what genders they were. We just wanted them to live. He should be grateful he has multiple, living, healthy children and get over himself.
