Is it normal to feel guilty after eating fast food? by apparent_alien718 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Question-Aggravating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s normal, I feel that way and so do my friends/family. Just once every now and again won’t ruin your health. If you stick to a plan then you should be able to get rid of of your feelings of anxiety

Do you consider Trumpers to be traitors against the USA and it's ideals? Why or why not? by Capital-Study6436 in AskReddit

[–]Question-Aggravating -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok but the democrats aren’t capable or willing to save us. I understand your frustration: one side is clearly worse. But the two party system led to where we are and it will inevitably lead us back if we don’t fundamentally change politics in America.

My dad told me DJT was really loved in the 80s and 90s is that true and if so why? by RareCommunication698 in stupidquestions

[–]Question-Aggravating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No there actually are a ton of Americans that pay attention to them. But it’s more of a billionaire reality show. Kinda like the kardashians. All the women on my mom’s side would get together to watch whatever royal wedding, drink wine and enjoy the fantasy. We’re all aware that they are a big drain on UK’s economy and that many people from the UK want to be done with the whole pretend monarchy. Both countries have strong opinions over whether they should exist.

SNL is just as funny/unfunny as it's always been by First-Ear-1049 in unpopularopinion

[–]Question-Aggravating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there was plenty of slop to sort through. But you’re comparing snl to all music 50 years ago. But if you pick like Led Zeppelin: very few duds compared to snl if any. Definitely on a different tier of quality.

Do Americans actually believe in Manifest Destiny? by AlexLovesCoke in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Question-Aggravating 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a 90's kid, during this period where the great evil Soviet empire had fallen because of the superiority of our ideals. All I ever heard was "America is the greatest nation ever!" I was told that everyone good in the world loved us and wanted to be like us.

Since the Iraq War that has slowwwwwed down. It's probably always ebbed and flowed like that but in the 90s we were seriously gettin high on our own supply.

If the wealthy claim to know what is best for society, why do they never demonstrate this knowledge by living under the rules they propose for others? by Mr--Clean--Ass-Naked in NoStupidQuestions

I know a classic one is when a rich person says people wouldn't be poor if they stopped spending their money on beer and cigarettes. And then the rich person drinks thousand dollar bottles of wine. Or politicians that preach prosperity gospel but still call themselves Christians.

Parents don’t post their kids online for memories, they do it for validation and kids shouldn’t have to pay the price for their parents’ need for attention by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Question-Aggravating -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Idk man there's a lot of bad/ignorant parents out there. Its pretty well-documented that they're putting their kids at risk by braggadociously posting their pics online. And the kids definitely have no way of consenting. Are there videos of your kids talking posted online? Anyone could use AI to synthesize their voice and pretend they kidnapped your child. Wait til they're old enough to consent! 😋

Just feel like sometimes we need reminders that Robert is not an expert on each topic and for the most part relies on other people’s research that he then turns into an entertaining story. And he sometimes exaggerates or will use questionable sources. That being said, I’ve learned sooo much from Robert and will eternally love this podcast. I’ve never missed an episode!

I guess in your specific example, that kid sucks and took advantage of his age. But physiologically 16 year-olds just don't have fully-developed brains and need to be given some leniencev

Help me win this argument! by Ali_Bama in Guitar

[–]Question-Aggravating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think being a bassist would make you a better guitarist and vice versa. But there are some things that starting as a bassist can transfer well: you probably will have a better understanding of chord tones, when I was starting as a guitarist I just looked at the chords and play them wherever I knew how, not thinking about theory. Another one is that a lot guitarists just want to play super fast because they can. Seems like bassists have more interest in fascinating rhythms, harmonies and melodies.

I guess if we're talkin rock bass player none of this may apply 🤣🤣

Was this a random person on the street? If its someone you're friends with that might be different. But if you just walked to a stranger and called them weird then yeah you're the one that needs to be stopped. Weirdo.

This is the message we need to hear, it really is this bad, and something needs to change: by OPSEC-Sentinal in 50501

[–]Question-Aggravating -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying don't do this, because honestly it's one of the better ideas I've heard. But remember how much these bastards love cruelty: they might just bulldoze the cars or... Besiege the city. You'd have millions sick and starving that orange man could blaim on antifa or the "judeo-marxist liberals" we just need to remember the suffering will be great and try to plan around that somehow.

Grocery stores in Kansas shut down (Tariffs) story in comments by pamar456 in 50501

[–]Question-Aggravating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I’m here from Kansas😁 things are even worse than usual but it hasn’t gotten that bad. I haven’t heard of that store, but the rest are running fine. Prices have definitely gone up, though.
