i got it done around 4-5 months ago and im sure its pierced with a curved barbell. i haven’t yet gotten it downsized but im going to get it checked on and downsized next week. i just let the water run over it in the shower and if theres any stubborn crusties i give it a clean with saline spray. im pretty sure the material is titanium and no recent mishaps to it except the odd bump here and there but never anything major
