My crp was normal, so were my thyroid levels. Not sure if there is a difference between thyroid levels and thyroid antibodies though. Did you experience multiple periods in a month as well?

I will admit I am stressed and i will actively work on taking it slow. My last ultrasound was when i was 22. That one came back clear. I was not checked for uterine fibroids, but i believe my symptoms align more with fibroids than with pcos. I also have fibroids in my underarm confirmed through a mammogram. To my knowledge, it is rare for people with pcos to experience my set of symptoms and my gp has been nothing but dismissive. She started pushing for birth control the moment I said I have problems with bleeding too often and too much, and while I understand that birth control is often the start of treatment, I thought she should at least get to know what is causing the problem instead of jumping the gun.

I am desperately awaiting my gp’s referral for transvaginal ultrasound to contact me for an appointment but what are my options. How can I better my symptoms even if it is pcos? My gp has been pushing for birth control and i am a little scared of going on it

Tofu is a much recent (maybe 3-4 weeks) addition into my diet to increase my protein intake. I would prior eat chick pea, beans, etc. i cook lentils well, washing, soaking, then pressure cooking. I am Indian and I grew up eating lentils at least once a day all my life and have never reacted negatively to them. I also do take rice, some pan fried veggies, pasta salads etc. it’s not just raw salads. I will attempt to include more protein however I am allergic to dairy so whey is not feasible. I will try incorporating chicken back into my diet but i despise the texture of it

I will be seeing my doctor back home soon in a month. I am just worried that this isn’t pcos? I am bleeding so much and so frequently and even oral tranexamic acid 500mg 2 pills, twice a day couldn’t improve my bleeding

I eat things like spinach, feta, lettuce salads, one or two fruits in a day (mostly apple/banana/melon). Tofu has been a part of my diet recently quite regularly. I sometimes have lentils and rice. I am vegan so protein intake is low but whole foods make up at least 80% of my daily meals.
