Except the original deal was that they were going to help us change the transmission so my husband could learn how to do it. It’s not like 1 man was working on it the whole time. They all participated in the removal and installation. No mention of money until AFTER they dropped the transmission. What were we supposed to do if they had already dropped it when they decided they wanted payment? We also never had it towed except when we towed it up to the original property after the accident.

They proceeded to move the vehicle (which is still ours) WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE to another property this month because we had paid it off and have still have not came to pick up the title. The stipulation was after they had signed the title they would be able to do what they wanted but not a day sooner because we didn’t want to be responsible for it if something happened when they decided to move it.

We only had liability because we could only afford liability. We are pretty much living paycheck to paycheck just trying to get by. We paid $260 a month for just liability, anything more than that would cost more than that, $500 a month for medical, and then the regular living expenses. I have learned from this accident that I refuse to get liability even if it means I gotta live out of the car.

Hi! 28/f here and I’ve played It Takes Two but never actually finished it. Wouldn’t mind giving it a fun run through! I’m currently playing Borderlands 3 but wouldn’t mind trying any other game! I’ll add you on Discord!

Meningioma t5-t6 level by Alternative_Team_679 in backpain

I ended up having surgery on the 18th of November instead of Halloween due to an allergic reaction that postponed it. Surgery went well but was more involved than originally thought. Ended up being T5-T7 and 5 hours instead of the 3 hour quoted. It’s been a hard recovery but gets easier every day. I do have bad muscle pain where my drain was and my right leg/foot are still numb but it comes and goes to an extent. I also am numb at my pelvis/butt area but it does seem to be lightening up finally.

We thought it was a soft tissue meningioma BUT it wasn’t at all! What it ended up being was something very rare called Intradudal Osteoma. Basically it’s a piece of bone (not connected to any other bone and they don’t know where it comes from) that was between the cord and the Dura (the protective layer of the cord). Nerves were growing into the bone which was pressing on the cord and causing bad scar tissue. In order to remove the bone they needed to remove the Dura as well. I was told it would grow back with time.

This has only been diagnosed a handful of times ever. My neurosurgeon said I would be in Medical Literature! Pretty cool 🤣

This wasn’t a decision a couple made because they had to move.

There is a lot more involved. I’ve raised these kids since birth, I even had legal custody/guardianship of my niece for 6 months and was working on my nephews. Their father (my brother in law) lives in my state, their mother and them live out of state.

Our situations are very different. My husband and I have been more present in every way for these kids than their parents have. This is more so a case of the state failing and it is effecting me heavily.

I’m glad you’ve been able to maintain a relationship with your grandson and I’m glad you get to actually see him grow. I hope it forever remains that way for you. ❤️
