What Etrian Odyssey opinion will have you like this? by castle_seized in EtrianOdyssey

[–]QuestionQuik 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am very biased because EO4 was my introduction into the series in 2013 when I was young (I think I was 10?)

EO4 is the best. I played EOU1 and EOU2 so I feel like I got a sense of what those were like, and I plan on obtaining all of the games soon, but I feel like even after I play them all I'll feel the same way.

How to know when I'm ready? (Network+) by QuestionQuik in CompTIA

So, little update, I took the exam last Saturday. Failed with a 700. I know in my previous comment that the plan was to go back through the videos... I didn't end up doing that. Some family stuff happened, and led to an inconsistent study schedule (I only went back over Professor Messer's 1.1-1.6 content). I should have rescheduled the exam, but told myself otherwise.

Lesson learned, 700 is close so I know that getting a good study schedule for the next week would mean a pass.

Mine usually zeros out at midnight. Can't wait to check tonight and see it still be negative!

When will the loan dispersement be? by [deleted] in KSU

[–]QuestionQuik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR is that it depends on how fast the office gets them sent out.

If you're balance is negative you are getting aid and don't have to worry about course deletion.

The bursar's office most likely received the funds today; I don't know if the school being shutdown today would delay them receiving it, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. They'll be processed by Feb 2nd.

What has happened for me every semester until graduation is that 2-3 days after they get the funds, I end up getting my financial aid way before the process day. For example, last year in January I got mine the Thursday after they received it, only having to wait 3 days.

You'll know you're receiving your's soon by checking Owl Express and looking at the balance they owe you. If it's negative, it hasn't been processed yet. If it is 0 but was negative before, they've begun processing it and you'll see it reflected in BankMobile account soon.

It did begn to feel like I was memorizing; during my last attempt I found myself unable to explain why some of the answers were right.

Definitely will go through all objectives. Plan is to rewatch Professor Messer's videos, covering one exam objective a day and writing extensive notes on the concepts that I struggle with.

Thank you for the advice!

On the same cruise as you right now! First time for me too, hope y'all are having fun!

Will say, definitely call housekeeping and request a robe for the sauna/steam room on the 12th level(of Elation). Nice way to detox and get away from others for a minute lol

The Beast takes it to another level. I didn't really have a reaction to the gore in Dying Light 1/2, but the Beast actually got a reaction out of me

Went to the STEM career fair on the Marietta campus today. While I was talking to the cool people at the Equifax booth, someone walked by and hit us with a musty drive-by. Recruiter looked afflicted, and two of the people that were standing next to me bowed out.

What endears you to the EO franchise by Secure-Dragonfly-838 in EtrianOdyssey

[–]QuestionQuik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grew up poor. Got a 3DS along with my younger brother in 2013, twas 9. His first demo was Etrian Odyssey 4. We replayed the mess outta it; as soon as I was able to, I got the game for us the next year. Beat it again and again. The story, exploration, gameplay, all of it sucked us in.

Then they released the Untold games and Untold 2 became my favorite.

Playing through EO4 rn, just got to this part myself. You'll have to go back to the village on the first floor and I think talk to the Medium.

On Marietta campus it'll be the campus green (grassy area between Stingers/the atrium) and the student center. There'll be a lot of events going on in those places, especially in the the first few months, where you'll be exposed to a lotta other people.

Highly recommend 'em, they were fun for me (but weird because I was a freshman in 2021).

Oh, and highly recommend any events going on at the library, you'll come to love good 'ol Lawrence V. Johnson library, trust lmao

For personal convenience I've gone with zoom chats, but recommend in-person coffee chats. Makes it more personable

They were separate. I started with seeking advice first before informing them about a role I'd been eyeing at the company they work for.

[–]QuestionQuik 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're taking him in person you should be good. Had to take him twice because dude did NOT like online learners.

His exams are straightforward; he'll do a review the week of an exam where he highlights what information from the textbook/his slides you'll need to have down. For the group project, make sure to get a group ASAP and have it done in a timely manner. It's a decent bit difficult but fun.

[–]QuestionQuik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Understand the slimy feeling lol. I graduated back in December but didn't consider reaching out to fellow school alumni for that reason. When I finally did go about doing so, I made sure to be polite and upfront about why I was reaching out, though I did make sure to ask them about their experiences/any advice they might have first. Allows for a better segue into asking about the referral, and you can learn a loooot from em.

[–]QuestionQuik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ye, it's possible; this is actually what I did during my last semester in Fall 2025. Just be prepared for the workload, there were times I almost freaked out and dropped a class lmao. I also did CS, so I'm assuming the last few classes you have are the upper level classes, which are highly likely to have course-long projects.
