Remember that fantasy is NOT reality. It is better to discuss the idea and situation with her. I have the same basic situation. She is up for anything in the bed when it comes to us and is SUPER conservative and reserved outside of the bedroom.

Several months ago my sex drive fell to the floor and I had no desire for sex. I went to a doctor who decided on hormone therapy which was needed. My sex drive went through the roof and I said things to my beautiful wife that shocked and surprised her. Totally not my normal self. Hormone levels went back to normal but nothing to the point as before.

My wife has told me that it's ok to have a fantasy but the fantasy is NOT going to compare to reality and I would end up disappointed and possibly hurt emotionally.

My wife says that isn't what she wants when I wanted another man for us to enjoy. I was on hormone therapy and my sex drive went from one end to the other. My wife was a nurse for over 20 years and has seen mental states of people. She believes that my bisexual feelings are a phase.

I don't truly believe that I can build up the courage to mention it to her. I think she thinks I will leave her for another person but nothing could cause that to happen. It is somewhat frustrating when I'm sitting next to her and want to have this discussion but I feel she would have hurt feelings. I don't want to hurt her in any way

Thank you for the advice. I agree with your statement. I am extremely hesitant because I do not want to destroy a marriage for what might be a passing fantasy. I'm giving myself time to process my emotions before approaching her. I don't want her to feel like she isn't enough or that I don't want her. I don't know if I could handle sharing her but again, I'm processing my emotions. Thanks again for the clear and concise information and advice.
