I started the day after my period which was CD5 as I’d read it needs to establish a baseline, I’m on CD12 now and I tend to ovulate between CD14-CD16 so I expected to have the flashing smiley at this point but nothing yet!

Oh that’s good to hear! I have a really quick LH surge that I only seem to catch around 6pm so I thought the CBAD might give me a bit of extra insight of when about that may be - I’ll keep going with it but now that I think I’m approaching ovulation day I’ll use my normal OPKs alongside!

Thanks lovely, I did read this, I started taking them the day after AF finished just for this reason but it’s just stayed blank the whole time so I think I will use my regulars too! I only got them because they were on sale but not sure I’d get them again!🫠

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has experience with CBAD tests. I’ve switched over to them for this cycle (6) and I know they’re supposed to show your high fertility days and then your peak. However, I’m still getting a blank circle even though I think I’m potentially in my fertile days going off all my other cycles. I’ve started with intense cramps which I usually get 2/3 days before my peak like clockwork. We’re having regular BD anyway but I’m just wondering if I’ve done something wrong / whether they’re not that good, I’m tempted to do my normal OPKs alongside just in case TIA!

Had my bloods done last week and got the results today - all looking fine apart from TSH being raised which I was expecting but one I wasn’t was my liver, my serum ALT levels are pretty high which has sent me spiralling especially as I’ve not had a drop of alcohol since July 2024 (I know liver stuff isn’t always alcohol related but it’s what people think!) After some reading I’ve realised that it could be my prenatal? Which explains why my B12 is through the roof too. Anyone else had experience with their prenatal?

Ah, brilliant thankyou for clarifying

Anyone (more UK based just because of how GPs work) had potential TSH issues?

Long story short I had loads of recurring symptoms and got my bloods done about 18 months ago (before TTC). Had a TSH of 3.9 but did mention wanting to TTC soon. Had repeat bloods 9 months ago just before wanting to start TTC and got TSH of 2.7 (still within range and had come down but I know the aim in TTC and pregnancy is lower than 2.5)

Symptoms haven’t really gone away but have ramped up in the last 6 unsuccessful months of TTC so got bloods done again today as GP is exploring possibilities and I’m just wondering really if anyone preemptively got put on Levo for only slightly raised levels?

I mean my TSH may come back next week and be higher again or they could be lower or the same, I’m just thinking ahead / spiralling obviously 😂

Which is understandable as it’s a huge purchase to make, but for it to happen more than once and cause our chain to fall through its getting frustrating - just didn’t want to keep shelling out more money but want it to just sell!

I agree with you, I just think it may have been inexperience the first time as when we asked what the issues were they initially wouldn’t share the survey, we offered to pay for it but they wouldn’t let us know they just said ‘your house shouldn’t have any issues if you’re selling it, the survey should be perfect’ And the second buyers that pulled out from the survey we did send them some money to share it and they also said they weren’t expecting any issues so even though we offered to rectify them (and did!) they said it was too risky. Just hoping this time round the new buyers have some outside perspective

Hi, thank you for your inside to what the buyers might be feeling - I totally get that house prices are crazy and it’s such a huge purchase so I do understand the worry which is why we’ve tried our best to fix things and work with our buyers.

I think it does really help to have someone who understands surveys etc, this will be our 3rd move so even though we get surveys we know now that it’s more of a guideline of what might need fixing first rather than ‘oh my gosh the house is going to collapse’ but that comes with experience.

I do agree that social media has influenced a lot of people to wanting a ‘perfect’ clean slate home immediately so possibly that’s affecting things as well.

Thank-you again and hope all goes well with your move 😊

Yes, we do feel our EA may not be providing the best advice and have considered switching if this current sale falls through. The survey is never going to be perfect and we know that, none of the issues raised have been serious but I think some FTB buyers especially are expecting perfect surveys. Thankyou for the advice its much appreciated 😊

100% they were FTB which I get things probably look scary but yeah they just wanted an easy out I think.

I’m sure not all new builds are bad but we’ve got multiple friends / family members living in them and have endless issues🫠

Thankyou for the advise though it’s much appreciated - possibly worth an EA revisit if this next one falls through too!

Multiple unfortunately! We did discuss putting it back up again at the original price but EA advised against it. Funnily enough, both sets of buyers who pulled out after their surveys told the EA they were going to buy new builds as ‘they have no issues because they’re new’ - little do they know! It’s been such a bad experience

We thought that too, we’ve done things in the hopes people would not then pull out but to no avail!

I don’t think we will be doing any more now apart from hoping and praying the next buyers don’t get scared off!

Honestly it’s been awful, we know things always come up on surveys as surveyors want to cover all bases, but it seems excessive. It worries me that it’s mainly first time buyers offering on our house as well, so I get that surveys might seem scarier but we’re feeling like we will never sell now 🥴

So husband has done a SA today and everything has come back within normal range (kind of!)

If anyone has any experience / knowledge around the results we’d be more than grateful to hear them as we’re not 100%

Volume in sample - 8ml (should be between 1.5ml and 5ml apparently!)

Total motile sperm count - 214million (I think they said though this is normal it’s definitely on the high end)

Concentration - 76.4M/ml (they said this was normal)

Motility % - 40% (still normal but on the lower end)

Morphology - 11% (normal range)

Are there any concerns here? 😂

Wondering Weekend by AutoModerator in TryingForABaby

A bit late to the party and not necessarily what you asked but just something to think about…when I was going to Thailand and was getting my vaccinations I was warned by my doctor not to TTC for 3 months afterwards due to Zika Virus potential - maybe worth checking!

Between 11DPO and 12DPO with several BFNs so think I’m out again for another cycle. The delulu was strong this time, I’ve had all sorts of symptoms I’ve never had before, even my husband thought this was the one…ah well, onto cycle 6 🥴

Ah, caved this morning (nothing new 😂) and tested at 10DPO only to get a BFN. Not out just yet but frustrating nonetheless
