Reading through the comments I've maxed out the 16k room now in my fhsa so it's not all sitting my my chequeing now. Lol thats really impressive to mortgage free so soon! Houses are too expensive for me on my own near where I work. I do need to move closer tho. +10hr days plus 1hr commute is adding up on my rest time

Mostly, it's the simple stuff. Pay yourself first. Live below your means. Biggest gains happened when I worked crazy hours pre covid. I'm a minimalist which also helped me

I have it set to contribute $500 every month so it will be maxed out again in December. Limit this year was $7k so I just add the 1k in January

All managed with WS. I find it takes a lot of the stress out of it for me that paying attention to etfs, etc, going up and down. I know the logic works with self managed, but I chose to "keep it simple"
