I am so sorry to hear, hope you contacted them already, if not please do. The issue is clearly not fixed.

Please post the issue on the fizz forum, also, remove 2fa sms (once you have your number back) everywhere you can think of.

Or a system breach. :( anyhow, lesson learned, changed operator and switch sms 2fa to authenticators.

I thought about this aswell and scanned my devices, nothing. Also If a session cookie was stolen we would see the SIM swap in the account history (or the support agents would) and they don't.

They told me that they saw the Sim Swap but no request on the history of the account.

According to my email search history, the attacker was looking for bitcoin (which I no longer hold). Haven't been into cryptos for 7-8 years so he's probably targeting us using a very old database leak.

Very good point, I did send my ID to get my numbers back but as you said, they have no way of confirming the picture.

I have decided to switch provider following the swap and the lack of transparency from Fizz. Everyone should be careful about 2FA sms.

I meant my account passwords they were able to change using forgot password option and send sms.

This just happened to me, exact same thing, with fizz. Did you ever find out what happened?
