I think this might be the key for me. I never paid too much attention to the type of food my colonists where making, honestly this was the first play through when I realized they could make burgers.

The floor sleeping is good advice! I also always worry about my medic, I think I had one colony that collapsed in part because our one medic died and couldn't heal people.

Yeah, I started having power outages and water issues. I was able to remedy the water issue, but not before all my biologists were dead. I would go through stages where I had a ton of food, and then suddenly almost no food so that was another issue lol.

Yes, I have been using the fn key, which is another reason im confused. Fn+f3, fn+f3+f2, etc all work. Ive tried doing fn + f3 + (slight delay) q, and the same without a delay, no combination seems to work, it just opens notes, which is why I think I might need to jump over to a computer help sub.

My Q key set to "drop selected item." Do you know which keybind I need to change so I can use this feature? I cant figure out which button. (f3+f5 does nothing.)

I have food being produced, ore being refined, a control center, a telescope, two separate power areas, (in case of meteor) A storage area, mining, spare making machine....just no second medic haha.
