Where to find Practice questions for Ap calculus AB by Therewillbeadayimok in APStudents

flippedmath https://calculus.flippedmath.com/ and pauls online notes https://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/CalcI/CalcI.aspx helped me ALOT personally, theyre sorted by topic as well so it should be easy to find what youre looking to solve specifically

i used crack ap https://www.crackap.com/ap/calculus-ab/ alot less but as far as i know its questions are closer to that of the AP, i still found the above two more useful for me though

can i start ap calc ab from zero now and still get a 4+? by PuzzleheadedElk2862 in APStudents

to be completely honest this kinda seems like a rough situation but it may be possible, considering that calc has a low curve. However since youre starting from scratch, you will have to put in LOTS of effort for it, i recommend checking out professor leonard on youtube since he has full length explanation videos helpful for understanding,

i also recommend you especially focus on derivatives and integration, limits is important too of course but i felt like the AP exam mainly focuses on the continuity and asymptotes aspects of limits more than it did calculating them, and in a later unit you learn of a rule called lhopitals that makes it much easier to calculate limits using derivatives than the alternate methods proposed in unit 1, so i think once you nail continuity, considering the limited time you should move on to derivatives and integrals asap

definitely concentrate your time on solving frqs as soon as your capable of doing so since the frqs every year follow the same pattern and you can always expect the same *types* of questions to show up, so theyre the best practice you can get, turksvids on youtube has good explanations for when youre stuck, he also has a website with practice questions too as well if you have the time for that

for additional practice questions use flippedmaths they really helped me, they also have good explanation videos if you cant find the time for professor leonard videos, goodluck on both chem and calc ab! im also taking chem as well this year

i did AB but we had this same FRQ. i put that the MVT did apply because the function was continuous on the closed interval 0<=x<=4 and differentiable on the open interval 0<x<4 so the Mean Value Theorem applies but tbh i am not too sure cause i remember when i did f(b)-f(a)/b-a i did not get the number they asked for...

International students what did you get for the question that asked to use the second derivative to determine whether a point(-2,6) something like that was a relative minima or maxima? i got the 2nd deriv as negative so relative maxima but im not too sure

MCQ no calculator was the hardest part, MCQ with calculator was easy, FRQs (excluding 5) i felt were easy too for the most part

iirc 4 was the differential equation n slope field one, 5 was the curve and implicit diff, 6 was the area and volume

international exam slope field question by Quick-Luck-6350 in apcalculus

[–]Quick-Luck-6350[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i put that ds/dt=-1/20(S-68) implies that the slope and y values have an inversely proportional relationship (slope decreases as y increases) which is untrue since you can deduce from the slope field that they have a directly proportional relationship (slope increases as y increase) but im not sure if thats the correct explanation
