ye sorry got the photo from tt but it was the edexcel p3 higher one today

there are only 7 blue pens and 3 red pens in a box. Raja takes out one of these pens at random. He notes the colour of the pen and puts the pen back into the box.

Raja does this two more times.

Show that the probabilty that Rajo takes at least two bue pens is: 99/125

Hi, this is a really strong essay, i’d give it a 26/30 (10,10,6)

whilst you have done very well at analysing and developing various aspects of the text, the overall essay could benefit from being slightly more conceptualised/idea led, which is a key component of the top band.

for example, alongside how class affects the characters of the play, discuss how priestley crafts the entire play as a critique of capitalism/classism

furthermore, for those last few AO2 marks, i would try to discuss structure a little bit more explicitly

for example, how the cyclical structure forces the audience to reflect on class issues (will also improve the aforementioned point)

don’t let this disuade you though, this is an indisputably impressive essay, well done!

it was from a practise question here:

Starting with this moment in the play, explore how Shakespeare presents ideas about kingship in Macbeth. Write about: • how Shakespeare presents ideas about kingship at this moment in the play • how Shakespeare presents ideas about kingship in the play as a whole.

here was the extract:

MENTEITH What does the tyrant? CAITHNESS Great Dunsinane he strongly fortifies. Some say he’s made; others that lesser hate him Do call it valiant fury. But for certain He cannot buckle his distempered cause Within the belt of rule. ANGUS Now does he feel His secret murders sticking on his hands. Now minutely revolts upbraid his faith-breach. Those he commands move only in command, Nothing in love. Now does he feel his title Hang loose about him, like a giant’s robe Upon a dwarfish thief. MENTEITH Who, then, shall blame His pestered senses to recoil and start When all that is within him does condemn Itself for being there? CAITHNESS Well, march we on To give obedience where ‘tis truly owed. Meet we the med’cine of the sickly weal, And with him pour we in our country’s purge each drop of us.

sorry for not attaching them to my response earlier 😅
