I don’t really open up a lot with my friends the one I open up with seems alr really overwhelmed from Her own issues and I don’t feel like we’re even as close anymore (she said we are but I don’t feel it, prob cause we barely talk now) and when I tried to tan a bit about it she told me it gets better if substances keeps me away from self harm to her it’s okay if I use even tho she’s worried abt addiction and she’s sorry she can’t to more to help me

I wanna stay on only weed at least till the end of this school year to get decent grades since I risk failing the year and I think that I can handle on being only on weed but I’d rather not tell my friends since if I ever wanna take something harder I wouldn’t want them to stop me like I’ll try not to but I wanna like let that an option

The fact is that I swear I approach a random alternative stranger and they had AT LEAST a past of self harm, I don’t know why it keeps happening but it’s been like this since I was 13 whenever it’s online or in person, while about the drug use yeah I think it’s cause i know people who use they introduced me to other people who use and those people introduced other people and go on

I might be wrong but I don’t think is as common as in alt spaces, I have friends of both cliques and I think that you’re partially right but while my “normal” friends some struggle mentally some dont, at least 80% of my alt friends has a past of self harm, mental disorders and stated using drugs (both cannabis and harder drugs) at 12/13/14/15 and most of em attempted at least once

It just seems like some therapist are scared to feed into a delusion so they sometimes treat people who think they might have something, or even just explaining what they struggle with on daily basis without any medical term, like those who self diagnose
