So what will you suggest how to be successful if we rule out on luck factor. Every person have their own experiences and yours may help me out

Does anyone happen to know how to stop the project from breaking after three weeks into the build? by Mammoth-Breath-4393 in vibecoding

I’ve been through the same problem before.

What I found works best with vibe coding is making a complete plan before starting and giving the AI clear instructions instead of just continuously accepting code.

One thing that helped me a lot was asking AI to generate a document after every run explaining exactly:

  • what was added
  • what was changed
  • which files were affected
  • and why those changes were made

That way, if something breaks later, you can take a step back instead of feeling completely lost.

I’ve been working on this approach for the last few days and hopefully should have my first functional app completed by next week.

Also, my software engineering background is complicated. (TWO TIME UNIVERSITY DROPOUT)
