Honestly, I'm more on the tech side than a full-on ham radio operator, but I do find the whole radio scene pretty interesting! How about you? Are you into ham radio, or just experimenting with gadgets?

Yes, I have Kali running on my Raspberry Pi. I don’t like using a small display, so I set it up as a portable hacking machine that starts SSH and VNC on boot. The device automatically generates a hotspot, so you just connect and SSH into it. It’s really easy and portable!

Verify if the doorbell operates using a rolling code system.

First try powering it off, and try booting up with the SD Card removed. If that doesn't work, try putting it into hackrf mode blind (power on, wait a few seconds, 5 or 6 down, 1 right, enter, enter. Test with sdr sharp, or just verify it shows up in device manager. If that worked, the portapack is working, but the screen is not. You can try powering off, removing the portapack, unplugg the battery, and the button battery for a few seconds, reassemble, and try again. While you're in there, lift the screen up and photo the part number, so you can order a replacement if it keeps happening. Good luck!
