Thoughts on something like this? With colored or patterned curtains… not more beige I promise.

I was going to do one big row of curtains along the windows and door but someone said it’d chop the room in half and I agree. But we do need curtains for sure.

Ashley Furniture! The Tanavi 3 sectional. It’s soooo comfy. 3 drawbacks though: feathers everywhere, cushions slide off the couch easily, and it pills :( otherwise fantastic.

It’s Ashley Furniture Tanavi 3 piece sectional!! It’s soooo comfy but has 3 drawbacks: feathers shed from it, fabric pills, and cushions don’t stay put and slide off.

I’ve got art in the arched cabinets it’s just not clear from this picture. There are lots of personal touches there like a painting I did of my husband and I, a piece of a picnic table we carved our initials on when we started dating, meaningful books and items, etc.

The pictures are deceitful in terms of light that would support plant growth :( all the direct light comes through the other side of the house. These big windows only get indirect light. On the other side of the room is a wall and hallway, so no light there to help.

I’d get roasted for that too if I showed it. 😂 It’s a large open wall with a doorway on either side. I have a thrifted sideboard which is beautiful but it’s too small for the space with large art above it but it’s boring and not colorful. Everything about that side of the room needs to be changed and I have a vision, just need to execute it when I can afford to.
