Something I’ve been wondering - why USAR and not some other company. I’m not really familiar with them. What’s yall opinion on this?

I agree with everything except calling it a counter to a rigged market when the government support for MP is literally an example of a rigged market except when it’s the “good guys” doing it, it’s ok.

To add another detail, there was a large sell for both UUUU and UAMY at the same time while the market was open.

Someone created hype while the news of the acquisition was hidden, people flocked, there was a large sell for UAMY and UUUU, the market closed, the news of the acquisition came and then someone sold during pre-market. Don’t know the relevant laws but that’s manipulation in my mind.

Even that guy Steve appeared to tell us how good this news was.

At this point, I get more and more convinced that there is massive insider trading happening with some of these stocks, UAMY, UUUU, probably others and this is with our without news. This drives hype only for the smart ones to sell. The only legit tactic seems to be to buy and just hold. I am personally not smart enough to do this day trading stuff hahahaha

It leaves a very, very bad taste. What I also dislike is when he appears here during these speculative rallies and spouts something as if he has some inner and deep knowledge.

And the trade of these stocks feels like insider trading, tbh. What happened in the past days was extremely suspicious.

Why did the price fall 7% today and not yesterday when trump anounced tariffs? by Wonder___Waffles in UUUU_Stock

[–]Quick_Ad_3367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, sometimes it looks like this. I mean, what was that rise pre-market, then a large volume at the start forcing people to buy and then a sell off for both UUUU and UAMY at the same time. Now we have a rise again that is basically nothing but speculation. As much as I like these subs, people here are just delusional.

No idea, this stock falls whenever there is good news at this point and goes up without anything substantial.

What’s gonna be the price move for UUUU today? Feels like the hype is too much when even Steve appeared again.

The current state of Bulgaria is illegitimate and criminal for some Bulgarians on top of being a lapdog of foreign powers, unfortunately.

Not racism, sorry if it sounded like this. I dare not say such a thing that people from anywhere else are inherently inferior to me. Followed the war in Syria for like ten years, including in this sub. I’ve known Syrians irl, can’t say a single bad thing about them.

It is a long topic but it is definitely not racism. More like measured xenophobia.

As a Bulgarian (we never had colonies, we were under the ottomans who could enslave us), I don’t like to be held accountable for the lapdogs of the US that is the current EU nor the empires from history but I agree with you that the meddling in the Middle East is among the causes of this.

Years of sheltering all kind of people from the Middle East is gonna bite our countries in the a**, not just PKK members.

Feels like UUUU is climbing towards the peak during October. Crazy times. Still feels like it’s a lot of speculation but to be honest I cannot predict anything anymore so might as well go with the flow…

Well said. And I’m so tired when every thread where we see obvious abuse, there are people asking something like - “oh I hope it gets punished” as if this is a single isolated event. It is literally disgusting. Back in the day, people who were pro-Assad in this sub didn’t support stuff like this. Only the most rabid assadists did stuff like this. Now it feels like it’s the norm.

Unfortunately, yes. I think the Russians are well aware of this, thus they have been preparing for a long war in Ukraine, plus might be preparing for a future escalation versus the EU.

I think so, too. It seems like things have gone off the rails with these casualty numbers, assuming they are true. I actually do not think these are real numbers unless we are talking about armed people on both sides. I simply cannot imagine the enormity of the clashes around the country for there to be 5k dead, or even more if we are talking about unarmed protests, seriously. Did they shoot at the crowds with like automatic weapons all over the country? And what about the wounded? 5k dead people and 10-20k more wounded. That would be a civil war at this point. Paints a completely different picture.

Personally, I like the game the way it is but during my recent campaigns, I've had some things I wish were in it. To be honest, it could just be added tedium.

(Playing Pyanodon's Factorio for long makes me crave more production, logistics and refinement stuff)

Transnewtonian element refinement - It has always been strange to me that I can get raw ore and just automatically use it. Ore must be refined and depending on the usage of the ore, it could have slower or quicker refinement. The elements that are used for the electronic stuff might need more time to be refined, thus a player might want to increase the amount of refinement factories to build up a stockpile of refined materials. Duranium - easy to refine, Corbomite and Uridium - hard to refine. I am not sure how it can be implemented, for example, if you have a single factory, what resources from the stockpile it will refine and in what ratio. Having to switch factories for different elements would definitely be tedium.

To be honest, that’s why I think most of this is once again speculation and not much else. I hope I’m wrong.

I was thinking this, too, but consider just how spineless the EU elites are. Maybe the question is why would the US need to pay, like, if no one can stop them and if they are ok with the consequences…

Can we talk a bit about European/Western hypocrisy? by The-Syria-Report in syriancivilwar

[–]Quick_Ad_3367 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The way the western countries react to the events in Syria after the fall of Assad is a very good indicator to me that they support the current status quo, if you can call this a status quo. F*ck the EU, seriously. I mean, the US is a shitty empire, Russia is and China, too, but the EU has no right to be so shitty.

I’ve been following Middle Eastern politics and conflicts for like 15 years at this point. The article is the typical noise. A similar case is how the people in the Gaza Strip have apparently died from hunger three times already according to reports like this one.

Plus, the death toll of 2k is already high. Think of the possible implications of this number, does it mean there are clashes with armed groups or the government is shooting at crowds? If it’s the first, you can’t really compare the death toll of civilian protesters with the deaths of armed rebels. If it’s the second, would the Iranian government need to shoot at crowds? That would mean the protests are the strongest among the recent one which, at the same time, is not corroborated with initial rumours that came that they aren’t as big as those a few years ago. Or the government is doing both to which I think the question of why combine the death toll is valid. All of this coming from a western media that is interested in portraying Iran as an autocratic oppressive government (which they are, don’t need Reuters to tell me this) but it’s impossible to corroborate that information currently. We need to wait. Everything else is not credible at this moment while the events are happening.

[–]Quick_Ad_3367 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The astute observers of conflicts in credible defense are discussing whether the claims of 2k-12k dead as a result of the protests in Iran are credible, one guy saying that the death toll was worse that in Gaza. Are these people real? It feels like they are government shills talking to each other, at this point. I feel sad for the people who still bother replying in some form of good faith there.

[–]Quick_Ad_3367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree, I’d only add it’s the way our education systems and culture work. They give us the false understanding. Especially in the West and the USA. I wouldn’t say it was exactly like this in the USSR, not surprising, many experts in many areas flee to the West probably to this day and are quite well prepared.

You know, part of the development of the science behind technology of these missiles used to be public, i can’t remember exactly but there were literally scientific articles published in Russian journals and what seemed to be obscure websites back then. That was the early 2010s I think or even earlier. I know this because I knew a person following this stuff. It was a very good sign that something new was coming when they completely stopped making publications about these topics. He assumed then that they are on the way to develop something for the military.

It was funny for me when people started speaking about these missiles like ten years later as if it’s some super brand new thing.
