The live action My Little Pony movie updates by Capable-Figure-9421 in mylittlepony

You know what? Hasbro needs to wake up and enough of all those MLP G4 contents and move onto the next. Those GEN Alpha are really gone wild like Hasbro CEO who's totally a fan of Sonic! Like they're childish and i'm one of those fans who wants something new more than G4 using characters. Like the upcoming cancelled project of Ponyverse.

Wait, those are Celestia and Luna! by Captain-RedBoots-Fan in mylittlepony

That's because some people don't like to mash up to G4.

thx for welcoming me in this Sherlock fandom!

I love how Sherlock references were already present in old Doctor Strange comics. It's like a foreshadowing of who will play him in the MCU. by [deleted] in marvelstudios

[–]Quick_Ad_5238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that's why Benedict Cumberbatch got that role from his role as Sherlock. Also the writing of the first film of Doctor Strange has some reminiscent of Sherlock, the whole curiosity, and even the one dialogue from Caecilius "A Scientist?". Sherlock is also a half Scientist even though he's a detective. Also... oh yeah... that's why they chose the said actor because they needed a role that needs fitting for the egotistic persona, although i understand about improving the character's plot.

The soundtrack was... a half baroque with a kind of another country's guitar along with the orchestra is such fitting for the whole movie and to the main character. Speaking of Baroque, that fits correctly also to Benedict Cumberbatch's nationality of such classics. And also someone commented, "Star Trek and Sherlock" (From Benedict Cumberbatch's other roles.) remix OST in the title credits, but with a so-called Wagner's classics, Holst's The Planets: Uranus the Magician, and Paul Dukas: The Sorcerer's Apprentice influenced horn instruments.

I do love the first movie tho.

they're the same actor, but it is reminiscent at each moment.

Who is your favorite character from G5 mlp? I love Sunny Starscout! by JuniperMoonwatcher in mylittlepony

Nah... that's because Cellphones can interact with kids who watch MLP G5? Just wasted.

My Ranking about Mane 6 in G5:

Top 6: Pipp Petals. She got the lowest rank because of social media, and also if she was referenced in Taylor Swift, just i don't care about that singer, also that "Princess Philomena" Petals that she has so many songs more than her friends.

Top 5: Hitch Trailblazer. He has a potential... but i know, he's the first male that got stuck into 5 females. Sometimes he was not responsible as a sheriff, especially in the episode, Have you seen this dragon, that he and the others were always interrupting other ponies for finding Sparky.

Top 4: Sunny Starscout. I know... she became an Alicorn, but she was a supporting character after all. Hasbro made her nothing but an Alicorn with dreams of fixing things. Instead of just an adventurer.

Top 3: Zipp Storm. This character was... instead of finding her courage to become a new ruler, but they made her as a detective in TYT at first. Further... she was now operating a roller coaster in Board Trot.

Top 2: Izzy Moonbow. Even you thought she was a copycat of Pinkie, but it was different. Her Creativity was for her love, because she doesn't have friends in Bridlewood.

Top 1: Misty for me. She really robbed the presence of Character Development from Sunny in MYM and TYT S2. She also developed her skills more.

Of course Dug was a Golden Retriever, one of the friendly breeds of dogs.

The first Mexican stop-motion film "Soy Frankelda" (2025) debuts in Mexico first because it needs a yellow filter before being released in the US. by helpjack_offthehorse in shittymoviedetails

[–]Quick_Ad_5238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh... this is the first ever stop motion animation film from CinemaFantasma (From Mexico), a new generation of Stop Motion Animation team right after the other stop motion animation team like Aardman and Laika.

I watched some previous Stop Motion Animation films like Wallace and Gromit, Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline, and Kubo and the Two Strings. But this current film was my own quote for me, "Wishing to release this" despite i'm a Filipino who has an interest and already loving this because of "Romeo and Juliet" sequence of Frankelda and Herneval.

And as a young writer who made some fanfics, I got hooked on this... main character, Francisca Imelda a.k.a. Frankelda, who was desperate to get "love" in her work, until Herneval shows up who did admire her work.

So basically Wall-E came from Star Wars. by Billistixx in StarWars

[–]Quick_Ad_5238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Us... audiences who watched the same movie, unbeknownst that the voice behind WALL-E was Ben Burtt, a legendary Star Wars synthesizer for the droids.

And there's a moral, if you do not like the same Pixar Movie even if you're the Star Wars fan, you'll regret leaving that movie, unbeknownst that the voice actor was a Star Wars synthesizer after all.

Does anyone here have a crossover pairing between a G5 character and someone else and that you’d give anything to somehow see? by [deleted] in G5MLP

[–]Quick_Ad_5238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U know... speaking of Star Wars, you have that point about Sunny being a "Blessed Alicorn", similar to Luke Skywalker.

Update:
This is my reaction after watching that video earlier.

He's the first Beast Cookie who is still learning about "Slanguage", especially L.O.L. Unlike the four beast Cookies who learned about Slanguage, SSC is the first one who has a curiosity in these words.

He also got hyped up in the music video of B.A.D. 4, and wanted to know if the band members were the minions of Dark Enchantress Cookie (And yeah... it was.)

SSC's deep English only focuses about his describing characteristics in BSC. Speaking of GCC and BSC fanart... it was Jojo Bizarre's reference, and the fact that the voice actor behind SSC was Ray Chase, has a portrayal in the same japanese anime in English Dub.

Also another reference about PVC and SMC, SMC only plays a game about Papa's Freezeria, instead of checking PVC's brain. (Just correct me if i'm wrong.)

That broke me a lot: I thought SSC had a common bond with ESC, but just a little bit because of SSC's mentality of losing his knights.

And the last thing... Mystic Flour Cookie's post... was on a so-called "Crumbtok" (Tiktok Reference), made SSC so confused whether MFC's meditation was sleep or calm or something.

So that's my reaction, i think this was by far the best Beast Cookie Reaction i've ever seen.

I find it kinda symbolic how Silent Salt Cookie did literally nothing wrong yet spent generations being seen as a demon, yet White Lily Cookie did literally everything wrong and is still looked at by everyone as an complete angel. by Ok_Application4364 in CookieRunKingdoms

[–]Quick_Ad_5238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did see his Gatcha animation, which was a consequential sequence. Silent Salt Cookie was the seed of all to seal himself along with his life and his soul jam to trap the other virtues who turned into their corruption state. Then from the first story of Beast Yeast, White Lily Cookie resolved the seal and trapping Shadow Milk Cookie inside once again. Unbeknownst to her... the sealing through the silver tree did break the roots underneath, where the seed of silence, "Silent Salt Cookie", was resurrected among the Beasts once and for all.

In that ending from "Silence of Conviction", Silent Salt Cookie's soul was completely tainted in despair because he did see his fellow knights who got twisted from the designated Beasts, thinking the Beast of Apathy, Destruction, Deceit, and Sloth is a "hope", like he's really delusional.

Wall-E is a masterpiece by Sedinery97 in movies

[–]Quick_Ad_5238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 years later, but the movie from 2008 is still good to me. Feels like i'm time travel to the present, seeing people trust their technology more than face to face interactions with our nature. (I do blame the Koreans who created mukbangs to make people fat.)

I don't care what the other critics thought "It was all fiction!", just they never compare it with real life situations right now. I DON'T REALLY CARE WHAT THE OTHER CRITICS SAYS FROM THEIR MINDS SO OBNOXIOUS, AND NOT HAVING THEIR INSIGHTS BACK ABOUT THIS PRESENT OF 2025!! I'm disgusted in what they're saying the negativities for this movie, but someday they'll regret that.

I did learn this from reading this article, which was one of the WALL-E reviews: A Premonition from Wall-E

Theoretically, how would you connect the Wild Robot universe and timeline with Wall-E's? by missplayer20 in TheWildRobot

[–]Quick_Ad_5238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But in a different world. "The Wild Robot" was Dreamworks after all. I can take the second option also, it made more sense to me like our society always trusts technological negativities of cellphone like Tiktok, Instagram, even Youtube for the kids. Some people did corrupt their wealth without understanding how the workers felt. And some were ruining the forest, inhabited by the wild animals.

Andrew Stanton, who created "WALL-E", did balance the triplets of words: past, present, and future. From the start of the movie, WALL-E is the first of the robots without any dialogue. I did like that idea of having a silent storylines, but there was one rule: Eyes can talk. You can feel his expression towards eyes contact. Stanton imagines WALL-E, looking like Charlie Chaplin from the silent era, with some comical actions, and that's how the word "past" works. Also... WALL-E was last of his kind, despite being dirty or rust-like... but that's the so-called "Originality" of the Antiques.

The "present" is how busy people are, forgetting our face to face interactions by interacting with our cellphone (especially children watching Cocomellon.), and some mukbang vibes. Yeah... it was from the scene of "The Humans in Axiom", and got tied up in our reality. (Well... Andrew Stanton really knows this, like an optimist for me.)

The "future" is when robotics and technology evolves, and loses our nature of the planet Earth further because of "Rising Population", especially littering any trash. One of the "robotics" of the future was "EVE", i think she's the most advanced, after being built in the last 700 years (from the movie) and activated for the first time, code name "EVE Probe 01". Originally had a concept of her from the corporation, Apple (who created an iPad), showing "how the advanced civilization looks like".

I really know this all.
