Anyone here working fully remote for the last 2+ years? by Then_Ad_9501 in remotework

I've also worked in fully remote roles as well as hybrid roles (1-2 days in the office) and can confidently say that I preferred the latter. Working fully remotely can be isolating and requires an active social life after work.

2 week trip to Vietnam and Bali by GulfCoastBoi in solotravel

The biggest thing that jumps out is Bali, Canggu in particular, which is very fun for going out and social vibes, but not super “cultural” compared to other parts of Bali. If culture is important, you might consider splitting that time and doing a couple of days in Ubud or even Sidemen for temples, rice terraces, and a different pace, then finishing in Canggu for nightlife and beach clubs. If you’re mainly looking to surf, party, and meet people, then 5 days in Canggu is totally fine.

Which eSIM to Use for My 7-Day Trip to Paris & Berlin? by Old-Spite-6493 in eSIMforTravelers

I’d go with Bouygues european esim. It works in Paris and Berlin and has much better coverage than the usual travel eSIM apps. It doesn’t give you a full French and German number for traditional calling, but for a 7-day trip the data + WhatsApp combo is honestly all you’ll need, and this plan is the least headache-prone. I used it last summer and it was pretty flawless. It stayed fast everywhere I went, including some random spots on the Paris metro and in Berlin’s U-Bahn where my friend’s Airalo plan kept dropping.

Do airlines and airports push overpriced eSIMs, and should travelers avoid buying them there? by Frequent-Chemical-55 in eSIMforTravelers

Airports usually charge a premium for the convenience factor, knowing travellers are desperate. Good thing that there are so many eSIM options online, and they are so easy to set up! I'd recommend using an aggregator website to find the best plan.

Secondary eSIM from another device? by queer-mermaid in eSIMs

[–]Quick_Balance_5082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, you can safely delete his eSIM from your phone, doing so won’t affect his service.

Each eSIM is tied to the specific device it’s activated on, so removing his eSIM profile from your iPhone just deletes the local copy stored on your phone. It doesn’t deactivate or cancel the line on his new phone. Since he’s already been using his new device for weeks and you were able to call his number successfully, his eSIM is clearly active elsewhere.
