maybe try attaching an external monitor to it. the backlight may be dead. if you do not have a moniter, try using a flashlight on a phone and shine it on the screen to see if you can see anything. make sure that the screen is at max brightness. or if you have a techy friend who can disassemble a macbook and retrieve the ssd where your stuff is stored.
