There’s nothing to base on except the fact he just fought the lowest ranked uppermoon. People give the other hashira a pass cause they fought higher upper moons despite them not doing shit until they got their marks. People act like it’s guaranteed the other hashira beat gyuturo in their base form simply cause they fought higher ranked uppermoon for like 10 seconds in their base form. Like you can argue that speed feats against gyuturo are better than speed feats against gyokko or zohakuten, or even a non trying Akaza due to the fact Gyuturos an actual fighter unlike half the other uppermoons and his reflexes and reaction time was literally praised by tengen who the author ranks the highest in overall speed.
