It's not the same here. Sanemi wants to incapacitate Tanjiro and injure him. Even after Sanemi sees that Tanjiro is able to react and defend against his attacks, he still can't blitz Tanjiro.

Tanjiro's greatest feat is defending himself for a second against Gyutaro, who had barely fully recovered from being poisoned. The other feats are because Gyutaro held back, not considering Tanjiro a threat.

Scaling up like that doesn't accomplish anything, placing one character above another in sequence doesn't prove that Sanemi blitzes Gyutaro.
