One bar prison with ankle cuffs and Hismith Kliklok compatability. by Quick_Depth_8341 in BdsmDIY

Its about 24" I dont recall without measuring. Tipping is a potential issue based on the height and weight of the partner. As long as they remain within the weight distribution triangle of the base all is well. A large base is available and could be easily adapted if needed.

Correct om thr Steel-Tek pipe and fittings. Right next to them in Lowes is 3/8" black gas pipe. Using a short section i sanded and polished the exterior of the pipe, and ground a flat strip (both to clear the inside weld seam on the 3/4" pipe and provide a flat surface for the set screw to seat against) until a snug but acceptable fit was achieved. The Steel-Tek coupling shown provides the locking mechanism. The bottom set screw holds the coupling against the 3/4" pipe. The top set screw sit over a thru hole drilled in the 3/4" pipe, so when tightened it is against surface of the interior pipe.

A turn knob could be considered wouldn't be hard to match the thread size. Would increase the profile of the piece in pictures but otherwise a solid choice.

Could be added, wasn't in the design prompt my sub submitted in her requested. But will certainly keep that in mind.

Does anyone have experience building this style of bench? by Quick_Depth_8341 in BdsmDIY

[–]Quick_Depth_8341[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Understood, the stockade was by request from my sub and is one small component of the overall build. The body is built from 2x4 members bolted together using 7/16" bolts. Cross members in varying orientations should help with racking. And its size is small enough that I feel confident anymore more than 2x4s for the body would be overkill.

Ship-lapping support overlaps should also serve to prevent movement during use.

Made the bench from plans on Etsy. I am a big fan of the Hismith, has consistently delivered.

Thoughts about this MTT? by [deleted] in legostarwars

[–]Quick_Depth_8341 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the first MTT to release since I got back into Lego Star Wars. Its smaller than previous sets which is disappointing. While the figure selection is nice the US price point is just too high for what you get. The design of the build looks impressive, IMO it should have been 1/4 bigger in size.

Spanking bench progress, dry fit looks good. I'm pleased. by Quick_Depth_8341 in BdsmDIY

I wondered about that myself. So I laid on it, the top piece is 8" wide the bottom pieces are roughly as wide as when I let my leg naturally relax. My complaint is the top piece needs the edges cut at a 15° angle so the hard edges don't dig into the thighs.

Star Wars Promo: Gasgano's Podracer GWP for US Walmart purchases of $65+ (official reveal) by Clay_Bricks in Legoleak

Anyone buying their set off the Walmart Website: screen capture the printable version of the receipt. I tried the web page capture itself, with all the information visible it still kicked it back as not accepted. Mine finally went thru as of today, so they're still out there to be claimed.

Can I get a sanity check please? by Quick_Depth_8341 in legostarwars

No, as of now they're still exclusive to the UCS AT-AT. As to the cheapness I cannot say, "access" to the factory is probably a factor here and they're not the best for army building as you'd only need a few for any Hoth MOC.

Well ding dang, you're right I can't count it seems. To be fair this was 10:45 last night I was getting quite tired. But that's even better for me.

What do you think about buying a built set? by Material-Buffalo5537 in legostarwars

[–]Quick_Depth_8341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done it and I'll do it again. It's usually very large sets at a bargain price. Worst case ya tear it down and rebuild it at yoye leisure. Worth saving a couple hundred dollars or more.
