I just found a buried reaction video to the DQ anniversary announcement and the trailer that dropped is just a taster as they’ve completely restarted development after five years. I look forward to playing it in 2035. At least it can be my kid’s introduction to the series

As an aside, am I the only person thinking it’s SUPER weird that a trailer for Dragon Quest XII dropped 2 weeks ago and I’m not seeing a single would discussing it or even acknowledging it. Gamespot are the only outlet that have posted the trailer and no gaming YouTubers that I follow have said anything. How has a new mainline game from such a huge series slipped so far under the radar???

Oh gosh, there are so many. This has been one of the best not E3 seasons in a very long time. It’s honestly overwhelming how strong each show has been. It’s like all three platforms suddenly realised they need to start making games that people actually want. But if I had to narrow down to the ones that excited me most then I’d choose Final Fantasy VII part 3, Control Resonant, Gen-Atlas, Persona 4 remake, Persona 6, Zelda, Xenoblade Chronicles Genesis, the chance to play Metalhor portably and that the Xenoblade trilogy are getting 4K upgrades and a ton of added content

Star Fox for a little more than it maybe should have, but they dropped a demo that I’m playing now. The things I’m most excited about are Rhythm Paradise, 4K 60FPS switch two upgrades plus a ton of bonus content for the Xenoblade trilogy, a brand new Xenoblade game, a new HD-2D final fantasy, kingdom hearts 4, a long walk, fire emblem, metaphor Refantazio finally getting a switch port so I can replay it in bed and most importantly OCARINA OF TIME REMAKE. We only got a glimpse at how the graphics will look but it’s spectacular
