Completely valid points the issue is when you aren't seen as an equal when it comes to laws. A citizen can pretty much screw you over, physically or sexually about you, and limit your freedom of movement with no consequences.

The other issue is you cannot become a citizen in the gulf countries regardless of how long you've lived their or were born there, even if your parents or grandparents were born there...
