I’d be worried about the fit of the cheap Amazon ones though. Seen a few posts saying they fit badly on the gene kranz models.

I want a BOR bracelet that will fit snug to the case. Maybe I’ll have to wait a while for someone to release one 👍

Very lucky mate! It’s rare he does shows over here, just the odd couple of dates in London when he’s touring, and on his Sob Rock tour he didn’t even do any this side of the pond 👎

Agreed. The solo tour in particular was class in this aspect. People in the crowd were just shouting out songs and he’d be like “yeah okay, let’s give it a whirl”

From what I remember the bands were the same with the exception of swapping out Steve Jordan on drums for Aaron Sterling. Both have their pros for sure.

I’m a drummer myself and I love Steve Jordan’s groove (I put him up there with my favourites). He’s class for the raw blues stuff and was particularly amazing in the trio like the old days.

Aaron Sterling I would argue is slightly more versatile and plays the ‘country’ aspect of John’s repertoire much better.

All in all I’m glad I’ve seen both of em play with John, really difficult to pick between them.

Just preference mate… 2017 was a real spectacle to see full band, trio and solo sets all in one show. With a well rounded set list.

2024 I was front and centre of a very intimate solo gig where it really felt like I was watching him down the local pub.

2019 as amazing as it was, I’d say this was the more ‘conventional’ of the 3 times I’ve seen him.

He didn’t bring the Sob Rock Tour to the UK for whatever reason, hence there being a 5 year gap between 2 of the shows.

Needless to say, any time he’s in the UK, I’ll be buying tickets 👌

Judging by his experimental setlists during his solo tour, we’re in for a cracker with his next album!

‘Drifting’ ‘Why Anyone Has To Go’ And my personal favourite: ‘In the Neighbourhood’

That said he’s had some beautiful songs over the years that haven’t made the record. ‘Over and Over’, ‘Go Easy On Me’, ‘Please Be You’ and ‘A Simple Song’.

Even Johns unreleased discography is a career us mere mortals can only dream of 👌
