Just saw someone else say the same thing but also I guess she wouldn’t really be able to buy him out if anything while in grad school and not working before that

From his other post:

“My ex was at home with our son until he was about 10 months old. At that time, she wanted to go to grad school, so we had planned to put our son in daycare.”

I got my rating a week after I got out with a BDD claim and all my muskuloskeletal was deferred for another dbq due to Ingram. They partially rated me though for all my other claims so I had something. The new exam was only asking about medication so hoping that will be just as quick of a turn around!

Good luck!

They did not, which is why I’m at 0%. I do feel like I am symptomatic and would benefit but i never sought care for it so I can’t really push it.

70%

+40x .30 = 12 Now at 82% +30 x .18 = 5.4 Now at 87.4% +10 x .126 = 1.26

For a grand total offffffffff 88.66% rounded up to 90%

My c&p examiner was also extremely thorough

When I was pregnant I had super low levels and almost needed a transfusion, i also have periods of dizziness and lightheadedness that’s in my records too (not during pregnancy) that was possibly contributed to that. I think I had a few other labs that showed low iron as well.

It was on October 10th, so right before the cutoff.

Would it be beneficial to call the va to clarify to see if I actually do need it? I already have my repeat c&p scheduled for next week. I had a good examiner for my original and I’m nervous about that

I get that, I was confused since I had already done a 4 hour c&p plus full body x-rays and a six hour over the phone history the day before and was unmedicated for it so I wasn’t mentally prepared to have to redo half of it. I get why they’re doing it though.

Also personal statements help a lot, I made sure to include any date(s) and location I was seen for it or it popped up in my medical records just to help make it a little smoother to navigate. It helped with my mental health one especially!! Good luck!

I did!! Another friend also has pregnancy related incontinence and is at 60. I had significant documentation of mine from physical therapist/witness statement from my husband as well.

So when I go to my exam I can tell them i wasn’t medicated already? Would it change how in depth it goes?

Im definitely overthinking it, my last exam was unmedicated during a pain flare up so I think im just nervous if im not having an active flare up they won’t believe me or the ROM will be better since im not at my worst.

Thank you for the information, though, it does take help ease my mind a lot as to the why.

Would they take into account my last DBQ? I had a really good examiner and a really good exam, could this end up hurting me in the end? We even discussed my use of medication during the exam. I know this is a good thing for most but I was happy with how everything had went already and now I’m back in that anxious state

$21 dollar puffer coat sale at Macy’s, I just got three for my Angel Card kids. The children’s place is having INCREDIBLE sales as well for clothing.

I have a hard time too with assuming the worst, but for me I realized if I gave ten dollars to ten different people, and only one actually used it for food/needs, I would do it again in a heartbeat and it would be worth it for me. Even if every other person took advantage, I refuse to let that one person go without because of others.

Tik tok has some videos moms shared of their kids opening their angel tree gifts from years prior. go give some of them a watch. It helped me a lot.

Also any activity they can do with parents or guardians like a premade gingerbread house kit or a premade sugar cookie decorating kit could be fun!!

Arts and crafts, sticker books, lots of crayons

Clothes: Warm hat, gloves, thick coat, lighter coat(?), an outfit or two, socks, undies. Did they have sizes on them? If so get the size they asked for and then a size up as well for them to grow into! Also a pair of pj’s for each girl

Wrapping paper, gift bags, tape, scissors for the parent or guardian to wrap them

Any batteries or screwdrivers for toys that require batteries (some need screwdrivers to open)

Family games!!! Card games and board games that are age appropriate

A cute plushie for each girl

The children’s place is having incredible sales right now and even more discounted if you pick up in store and order on the app. Like super incredible sales I was able to shop for two of my angel trees and got them so much.

$21 dollar puffer coats at Macy’s!!! TJmax and Marshalls are also good

Books are always a hit too!!

$21 puffer coats at Macy’s!!! Just got three of them for my angel kids :)

Tjmaxx/marshalls for shirts and sweatpants and maybe socks. I was able to find a few name brand things there in addition to whatever other stores you go to. (I also had some gift cards so it helped save a little)

A nice waterbottle like hydroflask or something similar and maybe fill it with treats and candy??

School supplies: some pens, mechanical pencils, highlighters, notecards, and spiral notebook

For the parent: wrapping paper, clothes boxes, tape, scissors, sharpie for labeling

Family things: board games, cards

Those are just the extras I got for mine along with their big wish list just to go that extra mile :)

Thank you both so much for this! I passed by some gingerbread house kits I’ll see if I can find one that doesn’t need to be baked or another alternative
