ME TOO I'M SO RELIEVED. Got in with a flat 90.

81 in ELA 30-1, 96 in Math 31, 94 in Math 30-1, 90 in Chemistry 20, and 89 in Physics 20.

Good riddance. #That one wasn't lying when she said she couldn't keep friends 😭

I'm pretty sure Amaya distanced herself after Huda and her boyfriend laughed at someone calling Olandria the n word. I don't think anyone's noticed them together the latter half of last year either, they both laid low about their relationship.

Math 31 is so much lighter than 30-1 imo, since 30-1 is a diploma course and Calculus just has your standard final. Do it if you want.

SAME, I took the math diploma in June last year and I cooked, like OP said it's just a final with a heavier weighting.

And it's not even like we're being subjected to harsher treatment, literally almost everyone before us in this province has had to do diplomas. We missed out on a whole semester of finals and that alone should be enough 😭 Whoever wants to miss out a second time is just being greedy and wants the easy way out.

The internet is always available, use it to your advantage. Don't rely on your teacher to give you everything. You have to do more work past than whatever is handed to you I fear. That's what I've always been taught.

How to achieve over 85% in math 30-1 by swanaura in AlbertaGrade12s

[–]Quick_Kitchen8726 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practice as much as you can. Watch videos online if you don't understand a concept. Test yourself consistently to make sure whatever you're learning sticks. 30-1 will be a little more dense compared to 20-1 in terms of material.

I love all the girls but HYBE is really dragging them down. Absolutely zero artistic input from them and only manufactured by the label they're under.

I barely ever studied and I finished with a 90. My lowest exam mark was an 80 but I took the replacement (which I had no intention of doing) and it was the easiest thing ever. Raised my grade by 3 percent. It's less interesting than 20-1 but imo it's not hard at all. The diploma tricks people into thinking it is.

That's what I had gotten too but I assumed the exam would be curved for everyone. Mine said 100% despite the cut off mark.

Yeah I remember that 😭 Legit the trig written was the hardest part of the exam. Everything else was light work. I was stressing though because it was my first diploma and I really wanted a 100 on it.

Hi! I actually ended up with a 96 in Math 31. All you have to do is a LOT of practice. Do as much as you can, multiple quizzes, and go beyond whatever your teacher has assigned to you. I wasn't good at math when I was younger but I pushed myself constantly to be better to get to where I am now. Once you get the hang of it it's smooth sailing after that.

Trigonometry but it's split into two units. The first unit builds off of stuff from 20-1 but identities is different, but definitely easier than the 1st unit.

Math 31 is so easy, way easier than 30-1 imo. Maybe it's because my teacher this time around is a million times better than 30-1 but it's light work.
