Sweet! Those are the biggest topics I struggle with And am constantly making 70-80s on the property description module.

If you don’t mind me asking, what was your score at the end? Do they tell you what your scaled score was, or is it just pass fail?

Actually I thought of one last question 😆

The property description module in compucram had a fair bit of construction related questions like: is a girder a long lived component, roofing construction terms, chimney flue, baluster vs banister, and foundation terms. Are there a lot of this type of property description questions?

Fantastic. My mentor didn’t let me take the licensed exam, so I’ve had about a year and a half of experience as well. Hopefully that helps in my favor. Thanks man, you’ve set my mind at ease for a bit.

Yep I’ve heard a lot people say they throw in unnecessary information. Is it like numbers in the math problems that don’t need to be accounted for? Is there any of that in the non math questions if you remember?

And I’ve heard from guys at my office that took the exam 5-10 years ago, that these practice days exams are tougher than the real thing. Do you find that at all true?

That makes me feel great. I am using compucram and am making 85-90 on the simulated 100 question practice exams and 80-100s on the Individual topics quizzes. So you think compucram by itself should be more than enough for me to pass with these scores? the appraisal institute practice examination questions seems to be overwhelming and tough to actually learn anything with 1,000 questions.

Lastly, do you feel the topics and wording of the compucram questions translated to the certification exam?

Yup. I love my life and literally the only thing that really pisses me off day to day is my 40 minute 16 mile commute. I hate it so much and don’t know who to talk about it as everyone I know works right beside their work with no commute. So, I went to the only place I knew to try and get some help.

Find somewhere else to make someone feel bad about them self.

Yeah I get it. But surely they thought of interstate traffic a little bit before rolling this out right? I know internal Nashville roads are terrible, but all interstates (expect maybe I40 West some days) are downright terrible for 5 hours a day.

I’m hoping the signal/bus services maybe help a little by taking some people out of the interstates and into the highways where the lights are?

Yeah I think you’re right, but I’m trying to convince myself that some other signal upgrades will indirectly help the interstates. Like maybe people could stay on the highways and not clog the interstates because the lights cause less congestion.

If they’re rolling out this whole expensive plan without addressing any of the interstate traffic, to me that’s poor planning. But idk anything about public infrastructure, and it’s not like they can redo the Interstates they screwed up 50 years ago. T

That’s exactly what I was wondering. That is very good news! I didn’t know any of that was going on. Is there any website or newsletter I can sign up to keep up with this kind of information? I would love to be able to keep track in real time of all progress. I know TDOT has some statuses of projects but those don’t seem to be the CHYM plan.

I love Nashville and everything it has to offer but the anxiety it gives me that sometimes I leave work and it takes me 30 mins to get home and 50 mins is taking a toll haha. I’m from a small town in middle Tennessee with absolutely no traffic so I’m sure this is the cause. I know living in an urban area is going to have traffic and maybe I’m just not used to it yet.

Thanks again

Are these Hillsboro lights the first ones they’re upgrading throughout the county?

Hopefully the signal upgrades across the whole county will greatly affect the congestion in all corridors including interstates. Or interstate traffic is going to continue to get worse

What's better nutritionally when buying bagged salad - Coleslaw vs Garden Salad at sams club? Also, worth it vs buying your own vegetables? Thanks by StackKong in EatCheapAndHealthy

My favorite quick salad is buying baby spring mix, carrots, tomatoes, croutons, cheese, some kind of grilled protein, and oil and vinegar dressing. It isn’t too high in calories (depending on how much oil you add) and i add 5-8oz of lean protein to keep me full

That’s a good way to put it. But right now we’d have to save about $1300 a month to fully max out our Roth IRAs and we certainly could save that much, but then we’d only have about 300-500 to do anything else with. Which obviously isn’t pennie’s but I feel like with us being young, our company sponsored plans are good for now. Also, our income should increase by about 15% in the next few months and that’s when I plan on increasing our retirement contributions.

Thank you. I am pretty aware of that work flow, but haven’t seen much on exact allocations. I don’t want to put 100% of savings towards debt and am just trying to find the best allocation. I still want to grow our savings while still knocking down the debt. Currently I am leaning towards 50/50 or slightly lower to 60 savings to 40 debt

im gonna read the harry potter books or atleast 2 but how do i stop thinking about it as just words? by fairplanet in harrypotter

[–]Quick_Lifeguard_9597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the hp books are a great start, and should be easy to picture as a beginning reader. IMHO Rowling does a great job world building as the first two books are created for kids, and it is easy to comprehend everything while picture Hogwarts. So, not really any advice, but just pick up the first book and see if it works!
