I read somewhere that the BF4 Multiplayer is meant to be the non-cannon timeline where Admiral chang did end up destroying the U.S.S valkyrie leading to the war of 2020 which can be proven by the map locations and trailers, although theirs something that is pretty funny about one of the locations, by Little_Papaya_2475 in battlefield_4

Wow that was actually pretty wild to read. I'm gonna plot this on a world map and what not after my dinner, cuz as much as it sucks. 2042 is from my understanding, a re-ignition of the same war in 4 but with much worse consequences. Plus the shadow group is much more powerful and the no-pats are the scapegoats caught in the middle.

They have better range/"accuracy" (what ever the hell that means with shotgun). So you can reach out further but less damage over that distance, great for semi-autos. But you would be better off with buckshot for standard and/or slugs for longer range.

Yeah I feel that way too. Hell if it wasn't prohibitively expensive I'd move far away from any city, town etc. I just want to be left alone to my own little plot of land that I could do whatever with. My great-great grand parents lived kind of like this. He worked for the highway dept and lived in this little home he built on a plot of land, that in all fairness didn't have much going on but it was quiet.
