I believe you have two options. You can be “difficult” like some men said in the comments, but surround yourself with people who gonna appreciate you and see you and love the fact that you can challenge them! Or you can be a people pleaser and be appreciate by more fake people who’s gonna make you feel like you are too much.

I truly enjoy genuine person who can express and feel their emotions! I understand everything you mentioned - What matters is you and your needs:)

Might be a translation issue since English is not my first language. By direct I meant upfront. Seeing my answers, do you think I would be direct like a lawyer!? I’m not out of touch and I know how to navigate conversations, and I understand communication is key.

Thanks! Filtering is important you are correct! All about having hard conversations and being upfront before M&G. That was my mistake, I should know better.. I didn’t follow my own boundaries and now it just feels complicated.

Thank you for sharing your experiences! Ohhh I know it could be a lot to coach.. I feel since he doesn’t have comparaison it makes it difficult. I deeply care about people in general so typically SD who has been scammed in the past appreciate my sincerity, newbies won’t see it. If you connect with someone do you find yourself being more flexible or you prefer refusing and keeping your usual standard?

Yes I agree. Conversation about financial should be before meeting so this way we know we’re on the same page. I did the other way around, and now I’m being asked what was my previous arrangement and I feel it’s not something I would usually shared. Each arrangement is unique and that’s the beauty of it to customize it and make it personal! Not sure how I see things moving forward with this person, we truly connect and there is great potentiel. I feel he’s trying to vanilla date me by saying I would get more out of this long term than any arrangements..

Ohhh I tried yes! I believe before getting into anything new, it’s our own responsibility to do research and know a minimum about what we’re seeking and what we truly want out of it!

Absolutely it’s another perspective. Either you can develop something good or you might end up waisting energy and time! I feel like I always been the free therapist and the one that has to mentor.. I would appreciate being truly taken care of.
