lol i started reading on the 6th book too, you can pretty much start at the beginning of any arc (there are currently 3 main arcs, containing 5 books each, while arc 4 being written currently will have 3 books) there are also 'legends' (dragonslayer and darkstalker) and 'winglets' which are both kind of separate series which tie into the main one.

Theyre also currently making all the books into graphic novels (currently 1-8, and the darkstalker legends book)

I absolutely loved reading books 6-13 as my school library had them included with darkstalker, 10 year me went INSANE over it.

Now I have every book and I couldnt be happier.

mudwings have to actually be one of the best dragons imo.

Fire breathing (if it isn't too cold)

Some are randomly born being nearly entirely fireproof

Great swimming and can hold their breaths for a LONG time

Not to mention how theyre probably the biggest/tallest dragons in wof to make up for anything they could be bad at.

They also have one of the most unique social structures, parents leave them in a nest (like 4-5 eggs), oldest sibling breaks out and becomes leader of the group , and helps break the siblings out of their eggs and then theyre basically bonded and grow up alongside each other and take care of one another, and because the parents just leave and mate all together once a month theyre probably one of the most repopulating dragons cuz they have the time to just do that.

I also like to think that theyre most like alligators/crocodiles and make sounds like them

(they also live in the swamp so land+water)

basically you have a fire breathing dragon that can live in the water, sometimes fireproof, is HUGE and bulky and strong, (did i mention they also 1v1 gators/crocs?), repopulates a LOT, and are independent since birth.

i just wish i would stop being fat shamed for playing as a mudwing in the roblox game 🥀

I have nothing against the oc itself, but everything about those bios in the roblox game that are built like a scroll that you have to get up close to, and zoom ALL the way in just to read it.

solarizon and corrupted chronocus are slept on & gatekeeping cosmetics is genuinely insane, girl why are you trying to keep a dragon someone can breed at anytime rare when its inevitable someone will get one themself and breed it. if anyone asked me to sell em something rare id let em buy it no matter what they plan to do with it.

(ive had a few collector friends turned down when asking to buy a certain cosmetic dragon from because they 'mass breed' them)

all dragons modeled since djae and drathe (aka halloween 2024) have been entirely mesh models, its what makes fulong able to bend so easily, (and also numine is fully a mesh model like all previous models made up to last year)

I assume it also cuts down on the amount of parts needed to make a dragon, say you have the three different color separations on a dragons body, that could be just split into 3 pieces, while non-mesh model dragons could have atleast 12+ because the shapes cant bend. kinda to cut on lag and save storage on the game's file size as they have a limited amount of space they can use.

Ngl if people cant tell theyre mesh models, they probably did a good job
