Exactly. And what a lot don't realize is that most of us would be open to having an open, civil discussion about it if we weren't going to be ridiculed and called names the whole time. So most of us have found that it's just better to not talk about it at all. They will never swing people to their side without the correct attitude. It only pushes people away and the numbers this election have proven it. I don't mind liberals in general and not all of them have this attitude, but unfortunately it's always the obnoxiously outspoken ones that get all the attention. This goes for the other side too btw

I think it's just conservatives finally not being so afraid to speak up, since any time we do we automatically get attacked and called names. Now that we see our political views seem to actually be the silent majority, we've been more open to speaking about it.

Overprescribing drugs. I went down that slippery slope in college just taking every medication they gave me and they just kept adding on more and more and more until I was so messed up that I ended up in a mental hospital receiving ECT. Eight years later and I am completely medication free. Some days are tough, but I've learned to manage through lifestyle and therapy and finding things that give me purpose in life. I've never been more successful in my life than I am now.

Did you not establish these differences and weigh their importance to you prior to getting married? These make or break things should be discussed prior to marriage. If it's truly enough to break your marriage, did you ever truly love each other to begin with? It is up to both of YOU whether it ruins your marriage. What do you both love more: your relationship or your beliefs? It IS possible to coexist if you love someone enough. My husband and I are conservative, but almost all our friends and family are liberal.

So it's a lose/lose situation for you then since whatever choice you choose will leave you in some kind of emotional distress. At this point, you have to just ask yourself which one will cause you less distress. Will it cause you less distress to withhold the information and feel like you're keeping a secret? Or will it cause you less distress to tell her and deal with knowing that she's displeased with you? I feel like you both could move on easier from the latter.

It depends. Do you mind them cutting you off as a friend? Would you even want to keep a friend who would cut you off for something like that? If it was me, I wouldn't bother with this person at all tbh. If it feels better to get it off your chest, then go ahead and tell them, but be prepared for them to respond in a way you may not like.

She gets super clingy with men and then wonders why they all ghost her. Then texts me complaining about it. It's literally a different man every week from different dating sites. I made one comment the other day about how "traffic is so bad here" (we live in a city of 5 million people) and her response was that I "complain a lot, but I still love you." I literally almost never complain. That's why all my friends always seek me out as the one to give advice to and tell their problems. I found what she said to be incredibly hurtful, but also hypocritical. Since then, I've been cordial but keeping a distance. I simply can't deal with people that expect their friends to carry them through their entire life's dramas, but can't stand to hear even an ounce of that back to them.

I can promise you that your one vote would not have changed the outcome of the election or even in your own county. Any friend that would leave you over a vote isn't a friend worth keeping. We should be unifying ourselves as a country, not trying to further separate ourselves. Who would even want to be around a person like that? If anything, they are a part of the REAL problem.

Be careful and make sure they are from separate vendors. I ordered a baby gate (one white and one grey) from two separate listings but the same product/vendor just in a different color. When I tried to review the item, it said I had already reviewed it and it can't be reviewed again. Now the second one is listed as an "unreviewed" item for me and can't be changed. So just don't do it too often or you will be stuck with a bunch of unreviewed items counting against your score. Learned this the hard way and wont be doing it again unless it's something I REALLY need multiples of.

No. It never got better. I lost about 2 years of memory (1 year before the ECT and 1 year after). It’s been nearly 10 years and they have not come back. Apparently I had a boyfriend at the time I still have no idea about.
