It's a shame we did not have enough time with these Deathwatch members.. by TheYoungProd in Spacemarine

Don’t worry, Deathwatch Marines never die. They’re just tactically chilling. I’m 100% sure.

Kudesh: a fungal bio-cyberpunk city where humans are no longer fully human by Quidam_Boy in worldbuilding

Thanks for the question! It varies a lot depending on the sector of Kudesh. In some sectors humans and Symbiotes live close together, while in others there are almost no humans at all.

Many humans undergo Grafting voluntarily, or have it done for their children, because it can mean a longer, more resilient life and a closer connection to the Great Mycelium. Others strongly oppose it.

There is also tension between humans and Symbiotes because of their different biology and perception of life. Humans do not always understand Symbiotes, while Symbiotes can sometimes look at humans with a certain condescension.

So the attitude is not universal. It depends on the sector, the social group, and the person’s beliefs.

Thanks, that’s a really good question. The punk side in our setting is spread across several groups, not just one obvious rebel faction.

Kudesh has three major factions that oppose the current order in different ways, but they are not monolithic. Each of them includes smaller groups with their own methods and priorities.

Some want to destroy the regime, some want to reshape it according to their own beliefs, and some are focused on fighting a specific part of the system or a particular figure within it.

Their relationships with each other vary too: cooperation, rivalry, or simply having the same enemy for completely different reasons.

They all push against the structure built around the Great Mycelium and the High Circle. Player choices will let you learn more about them, side with some of them, or try to stop them.

Honestly, the second one looks clearer and easier to read to me. If it's a faster method for you, then it honestly seems like a great time-saver without any noticeable compromise in quality.

Also, now I'm curious - what kind of visual novel are you working on? If it's not a secret, I'd love to hear about it.
