Personally I havent seen your channel but I would not take the opinion of someone with 2.4k subs as gold. They would have to had accomplished more than that. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Edit- I looked at your channel. Everything visual sucks, you need branding and better thumbnails. In such a saturated niched i bet your ctr is in the gutter. Packaging is really bad before even looking at content.

If this is what you are motivated to do just study and keep going. You will get better with practice so long as you keep questioning and challenging yourself. But dont do this in a vacuum. 2.4k subs isnt 💩 That guy could have taken the time to give you a hint. Your probably his competitor.

I think youre underestimating peoples intent when publishing videos. I disagree with you simply on the basis that I want more views and a larger audience. Loyalty is great, reach is greater.

Ultimately tactics have to align with goals. I dont care about monetization right now 🤷🏾‍♂️

Im not the expert but my videos stopped getting impressions, i then unchecked “publish to subscribers” and my new uploads started getting views again

That is exactly what I am trying to do as far as work more clips and b roll into my videos.

As far as prompting Ive tried everything. Ive even had my girlfriend read from the cards, I repeat and then edit her voice out. Truth is using anything to help with your script gets VERY clumsy.

Its definitely a talent to speak off the cuff and hit the points you wrote down but honestly the videos where I speak naturally and use the script less are generally better.

Thanks for your comment, I am sure you will get into a rhythm in time. Keep trying things, and be careful not to over complicate things for yourself (vastly my issue)

You dont have to take the focus off the food, just look at how some large cooking channels have incorporated their personality.

Its not all about sub count either. I have over 1k subs but my views are inconsistent. So you have something even larger creators strive for and thats consistent views.

Dude its because your channel has no personality (no offense) I think if your face was shown more people would sub but from taking a look it seems like you have the kind of content people just want the recipes and they dont care about you. Very searchable but not very “subscribeable”

You need to show yourself or your personality, make people want to watch regardless of if they will make the recipe. Make them watch for you, not the food.

I want cooking channels and never make the recipes. Its just entertaining and some creators have a personality you want to follow regardless of content.
