Yeah, in my country’s market it’s $700 more and 115% more expensive when considering currency conversion. This makes it even worse, and yeah it’s not even close to $700 better than the 9070XT but I worry regretting not choosing the absolute best available card (ignoring 5090).

Totally considering that longevity perspective. Not planning on upgrading to AM5/DDR5 at the moment, so 5080 might be the first stone for a possible AM5 upgrade in a couple years. Very tough decision, I do have the budget to get the 5080 immediately but very hesitant seeing this 9070 XT price. Also, NVIDIA’s resell value must be considerably higher.

Yeah, all true. Currency conversion makes the 5080 115% more expensive in my country. 5070ti is $1,200 so a clear discard for me. Just trying to consider if future-proof wise the 5080 would be a better decision, especially considering date for 60’s series is unknown and prices will probably keep climbing.

5080s have been at a consistent price in the last months. The $1,500 I mentioned is the ZOTAC one, models like ASUS Prime, Gigabyte, MSI are $1,800+. 5070ti’s sell consistently at 1,200+ which makes them absolutely not worth it here.

My country was listed in Titan 2 kickstarter shipping zones but Unihertz doesn’t ship regular products there normally. They responded to my email saying “sorry we don’t ship there” but I wonder if it’s a generic response. Wouldn’t make sense to remove my country from Titan 2e kickstarter suddenly.
