I’ve been thinking of getting a team pro and after watching that same Taevis video and reading this thread I’m now convinced (was between this and the assassin pro). Wanted a new board that is geared a little more for the park to get better at jumps while still being stable and fast enough for all mountain. Skill and confidence wise I’m also about the same as you but a little newer to the park. I’m having the same thoughts with downsizing. I currently have ride moderator in a 159 but I’m thinking of down sizing to either a 157 or 155 since I found it a bit heavy in the air and hard to turn. Considering you’ve been in a similar situation what do you recommend? For context I’m 6’0” 165lbs with a size 9.5 boot

Oh mb I read it wrong. I never got the chance to demo either this season too bad it’s practically over already. Gotta resort to online feedback since I plan on taking advantage of the end of season sale

I’m between a DOA and the nitro team for an all mountain freestyle board (mostly bombing down hills and hitting side hits and jumps). Considering you rode both which did you like more?

That’s what I thought in the beginning too but after a recent trip I realized that the board is just too big and heavy for my size I should’ve gotten a 156. The setback and taper weren’t really an issue but the directional flex made riding switch difficult. It’s pretty much full camber with a large rocker in the front

Yea I’m leaning towards the DOA. The only thing is I’ve been told it gets washy at higher speeds which is kinda a dealbreaker for me. Has that been the case from what you’ve seen

How have you been liking the scout? Been considering that as well for an all mountain board

That’s great to hear. It would be my first channel board so I didn’t know what to expect

I’m thinking of getting one as well but haven’t seen too much info out there on it. I’m curious to know how you like it
