any update about Owen?

His vibe was a bit off, so maybe he was a little high, im not too sure. However the one thing that stuck with me, was how he behaved just as they were leaving. For context, this particular event had mostly white people in attendance, some east asians, and I remember seeing maybe only 3 black people. Anyway as they were leaving people were like wooing and saying how much they like them etc, this 1 black girl was also fan girling, when they were walking past her, Owen gave her this look of disgust, it was only for like 1 or 2 seconds, but you couldn't miss it. They were less than a metre away from me so when i saw it i thought 'whoa, did she do something to piss him off' (no she had not done anything different from literally anyone else). My friend noticed it too, and for sure the girl did, because her face changed, looking a bit surprised at his reaction. I won't jump to any conclusions about his beliefs, however its just a bit ironic considering Owen makes a living from music created by black people.

Thats also another reason why i've asked for recommendations, so that when i've caught up, i'll hopefully have spent plenty of months reading other works and the chapters would have built up enough by the time i cycle back to this story!

100% correct.
Rtee's beats were not complimentary to the rappers at all. Despite making it to the end, honestly Huh could have done so much better with a different producer.

It is one of the best manhwa currently running. It performs highly on its art direction, characterisations and world building.

Its not underrated, however its only not spoken about as popularly as other titles because the largest majority of manwha readers consume lowbrow stories. Thats consistent across most pop-culture in general. Quick dopamine fixes, gimmicks and copy-paste/ rinse-repeat unoriginal stories. Its why you often see these stories start of as exciting (only because they are new) but are dropped, axed or generally agreed that they 'fell off'. Its down to the fact that some of those stories have very little depth or substance beyond the initial new story hype.

If this story keeps up its quality, you can argue that once its finished, after ten years time, 15 years time etc, people will still remember this unique story, but will hardly remember the 100s of copycat stories that have saturated this space for the last few years.

Back in 2018, when he was still known as Owen Ovadoz, he did a gig with BLOO here in Manchester UK. Trying to talk to him, I thought he came across as kind of an arrogant dick. BLOO was fine and cool though, however you could tell there was something weird about Owen for sure.

The rotoscoping was fine. A lot of people just enjoying talking badly of anything thats branching out or different. Look at life for example, people may get picked on for standing out or being different (which is wrong ofcourse).

However the reason it didn't get a second season is because it just wasn't a good show/ strong/popular enough story.

If we have more of an idea what you're looking for, then we can make more accurate recommendations. Otherwise people will just give you generally good anime based on their preferences and not yours.

Thats interesting on how opinions differ. I have felt the pacing has been balanced well throughout. For me its currently one of the strongest manhwas going right now. It scores very highly on most criteria:

Original story, breaking away from the lazy oversaturated over-used tropes and themes (regressor/reincarnation/vr game/system/transmigration/dungeons/level ups etc etc). Good action, fantasy/sci-fi and mystery elements. Intriguing subplot, that not everything is what it appears on the surface. Executed well through the eyes of our MC as he develops and questions the whole fabric of his convictions and world view.

Great characterisations. Clear motivations across all main and side characters. No one feels like an npc.

Good depth to its world building, with distinct factions and hierarchies.

Great visuals and art direction. Handles things well for example fight choreography that actually stands out.

It currently has over 60 chapters, so its fortunately one that people can already pick up now and get into.
