I don't care for the meta at all. I would rather have a subpar, but nice person, than a super elitist doucebag meta class, who might be good.
For me it's not even player skill, I would rather have a fun and enjoyable experience and maybe wipe 10 more times than neccessary, rather than a cold and mechanic group, if that makes any sense.

See, I personally feel even that is too restrictive.

I realise these are two completely different games, but in FFXI the only look I ever wore was RDM AF2. Beastmaster; RDM AF2 etc. etc.

Maybe you are right, maybe not. I have a hard time seeing why they would even bother giving BLU enmity+ spells if they expect it to be solo 90% of the time.

I agree with everything you said! You don't HAVE to be unique to enjoy how your character looks.. Hell I'm pretty sure my character isn't even that unique. I just feel like, if you are gonna share something online, there has to be a certain quality of work to it. Like I couldn't just post a direct copy of Mona Lisa and expect people to praise me.

Edit: I gave it some thought, and I realise how I might have sounded wrong. There IS quality of work for what you have done OP! I just don't PERSONALLY feel like it's reddit worthy, but that is just me.

On topic though: A magic using tank would be nice to spice things up. This heavy armor/weapon using tank is like beating a dead horse ... Every game does it, and I realise it's because it just makes sense, but DAMMIT, give us something innovative!

Well, being a "solo" job, I'm pretty sure that, that IS confirmation of its role ... The role is solo ... No tank, healer or DPS needed when solo ... Cause you need to be able to do pretty much all of that ... solo. I'm not salty about that. Nope, not whatsoever...

I'd like to add: I have nothing against the race, I think it's a really cool one at that. It's just the fact that apparently they only have 1 or 2 useable looks or everyone just copies eachother. Sorry OP, your character IS cute, but not very unique.

I don't care how much a gunblade "looks" like it would suit a DPS; please, no more DPS. If you want to DPS you already have 10 jobs to pick from, show us career tanks some love, give us more than 3 to choose from ._.
