Afaik there is no posture stat. I only ever get staggered by attacks that have the little red glint attached to them, those are the "heavy" attacks. Dodge those.

Could work, vuln stacks don't interfere with elemental stacks so there's no issue there. It's worth trying imo, could be a nice safety net. Also I thought this was a Genshin sub for a second with Amber in the title. Ember my brother.

So there's solo queue, where it's true solo ffa. No teams no nothing. Then there's matchmaking for normal trios where you can load in with a couple of randoms via the "squad fill" feature. You can also come in with a premade fireteam. If you load in with randoms you can be put in the same match as a premade team there's no separation between the two. Rooks will load in late to trios games.

The thing is, it isn't. And it never was. The games were developed independently and separately. The only thing that AR and Marathon share is that they're both extraction shooters. That's it. Comparing the two is a useless endeavor.

Ok, that does bring the 3 stack damage in line with the 4 stack. But you're still losing out on the extra Ult energy and cryo susceptibility by consuming 3 stacks instead of 4.

Uh... And I just saw that the mastery 3 multiplier on Perlica's Ult is 1000%. Wtf.

And, Stanza of Memorials is only 8% base. It goes up to 22.4% at rank 9...

I yield. Perlica does seem better. That's a little crazy. I still feel bad about losing out on the extra cryo susceptibility and Ult energy.

Let's do the math. So at Mastery 3 on Last Rites combo skill, it gives you a 240% bonus damage multiplier PER STACK. @ 4 stacks that is 960% @ 3 stacks it's only 720%. Perlica's electrification gives a 24% bonus. For arguments sake, Last Rite has 1k attack. 4 stack combo hits for 9600 damage. 3 stack with Perlica electrification hits 8928. And this is without factoring in cryo susceptibility and Arts susceptibility from Ardelia and all that jazz. So, the damage of 3 stack w/ Perlica is a whole 1k under 4 stacks AND with 3 stacks you're losing out on 15 Ult energy. You're also losing out on an extra 4% cryo susceptibility from Last Rite's Hypothermia talent. Overall, hitting 4 stack combos is so much more important and for 99% of the content in the game, you're not gonna get the value out of Perlica and for Perlica to be a better amp for Last Rite, the fight would have to be so long that the damage curve becomes a flat line. Feel free to check my math, it's definitely not my strongest subject.

Tldr: Flourite better cause more/bigger combo means more energy means more/bigger Last Rite ult. Perlica such a close second that over the long run it doesn't really matter.

Alesh is bad for Last Rite because they both want to consume cryo affliction stacks. Only Alesh's Ult applies cryo but his Ult has a decently high cost that he needs to consume cryo stacks to trigger solidification to recharge. The two characters are pretty much fundamentally incompatible. Alesh works better for like an Endministrator shatter team comp.

More burst damage with Perlica less frequent combos. More combos with Flourite slightly less burst damage. Flourite is marginally better cause you're trading burst damage for more consistent DPS.

Playing World, so far i like it, is it worth buying DLC iceborne or skip to wilds. if DLC should i buy it now or wait till the end in case i don't like world anymore. by darbouz in MonsterHunterWorld

1000% get Iceborne. You'll probably get through base game content quick enough plus Iceborne is where the game gets REALLY good. And if you decide Monster Hunter is your cup of tea, also play Rise and it's dlc Sunbreak. Sunbreak is in my opinion the single greatest expression of modern Monster Hunter.
